Acording To AniSuki, AH, My goddess TV has been Licenced by Media Blasters along with Cult Favroute, Genshinken (No word on the Kujibi Unbalance DVD okmake).
Well, if it's any consolation for me, chances are that meens that Beez will get the UK rights (On the provision that MVM, heaven forbid, get the licence due to thier past work with Ah, My goddess OVA and Movie.)
Of course, knowing the UK market that'll be a very long time in the future when Mankind is enslaved to the Apes.

Figured Gennon would have been the ones to Grab AMG since their name is in the credits. Still They certainly did'nt waste any time grabbing it.

I'm glad Genshinken got licensed. I was getting worried I'd never see it after the subs were shut down by Media Factory.

Ah Megami-sama! I was enjoying itI know the DVD's probley won't be out til 3rd or early 4th quarter if we're lucky. As for Genshinken while its a great show unless theres a second season planned(probley unlikley) I would'nt reccomend picking it up cause the "ending" will leave you feeling disapointed and wanting more. Atleast thats how I felt.

Same here. Then again, if they had it, they probably would have announced it before the series aired. Anyhow, I hope AMG! comes out before year's end.

Anyway, I dissagree, I thouhght the end was very satisifying and I doubt they would drop it after the sudgestion of the addional member to Genshinken at the Credits.
I just hope they do the Smart thing and bundle 'Unbalance with the Dvd's ala the JP relaese.

Stop moaning about UK dvd releases please, its very annoying.
We dont get them taht far behind, and the gap is decreasing.
(of course, i know this will just be ignored by you anyway)

Media Blasters seems to think they have the Kujian omake, but they're going to double check.
And why is everyone mispelling Genshiken?

(of course, i know this will just be ignored by you anyway) Indeed, and with anyluck a good show like AMS, won't end up in MVM's dirrty hands cause they'll go and stick it to the wrong companies again.
And no, I'm never going to drop it, not untill they releaise they need Yu Yu on Toonami so you can stop comenting on that.
My hopes are firmly set on Beez.

The DVD omake was apparently part of the license. The Media Blasters guy wasn't entirely sure about it, but he said it probably was.

...And the A!MG cosplayers join the Naruto cosplayers in blocking the Katsucon dealers' room in protest in how they can no longer download fansubs of said shows. :anime:

Licensed already? Ah pooh! I enjoyed watching that subbed. Ah well.
All these newer shows getting licensed. Yet they deny me SGT Frog and Bleach!

I'm willing to bet one of them has been picked up and the fine details are being worked on in preparation for an announcement at one of the cons.

Bleach could be FUNi's big shonen pick up for the year and from what I hear... TokyoPop is trying to get SGT Frog's anime. I'd rather have SGT Frog sooner though.
But anyway... I hope it gets on TV somehow. It's not a show I'd buy DVD's for but I did enjoy what I saw so far.

I was hoping FUNimation would score Ah! My Goddess but oh well. The show may be to good for me to pass up, but I will say that if Media Blasters really wants my money, they'll do the subs the way FUNimation does theirs. *nods*

But since Media Blasters is getting it, then they'll most likely get the cast from the original OAVs/Movie to reprise their roles.

Though Media Blasters have worked with Coastal Carolina/Phoenix Post several times (http://www.crystalacids.com/database/recordstudio/coastal_carolina.html), it will likely be yet *another* set of VAs for AMG because Coastal has moved to another city as Phoenix Post. Meaning, unless the old VAs (except for the wife Pamela) want to drive 90 min to record, they'd have to hire new VAs.

Media Blasters is in NYC, where also CPM, who bought them when they were called Software Sculptures.

Media Blasters is based in NYC, but they've worked extensively with BangZoom! on several projects, Kenshin being one of them. And Costal Carolina is now part of Blue Smoke Studios over in Ashville NC.
They may very well go with BangZoom on it. They usually do with their bigger titles.
