Sonic X "Prize Fights" [Tailback] 2/19-20/-05

Since Batman's BF probably won't be doing a tailback until next week's thrilling episode, I do part one of this two episode story to conclude the Sonic Battle Arc.

With Eggman on the loose again, the President decides to have a battle tournament with the best of the best [or worst of the worst] of the various figures we have seen on Sonic X in order to stop the evil scientist. However, Sonic, Knuckles, and Rouge thinks its a silly idea. Will they go with the president's plan? Find out, unless you saw the episode already.

This has to be the lamest tournament I've ever seen. I mean, having Sonic characters and any average joe duke it out in a ring? Sonic and crew are right, it was a lame idea. Emerl sure better deliver next week. 1 out of 5.

and for once, Chris shows how resorseful he can be (and humble in regards to the Amy vs Sonic match). Damn 4-kids for making the whole thing seem wrong though.

Got a good laugh at Nelson (Chris' father) losing in like 3seconds and Chuck and Lindsy (Chris' mother)'s reactions.

This was an interesting episode, which is good because I usually dislike sports event episodes were the opponents are just made of the major/minor cast members. If it's a wacky races thing I let it slide. For me it seems better when they add a few extra characters that aren't a part of the cast, because that more realistic.

Anyway the matches were really entertaining.

Chris laid the sharpshooter Bret Hart style on Nelson, hilarious. And yes, we finally got to see Tails fight with his skills, not a machine or anything else. However, the overall sillyness of "Sonic Battle-Face Off!![TMS name of ep] and the fact they cut out Big and the fact Knuckles forgot all the lessons he learned all series long made this a disappointment for me. 6 out of 10.

My analysis? LOL, you make me feel like I'm the alpha leader or something of Sonic X reviews. Any who, I am upset Big was cut out since he rocks my socks, but even still, I insanely love the episode. They didn't make the entire thing a repetive fist fights for everyone. Each battle was unique and different and I appreciated that. Not to mention hilarious to boot. 9/10

Despite the fact that the Emerl arc has nothing to do with Sonic Battle other than the inclusion of Emerl. At least next week will finally end this and show us just how many cans of whoop-ass Emerl open up.
