is the buu saga over?

Okay...MAJOR spoilers ahead for those waiting to see the eps in reruns.

So Buu eats Dabura and after that our friends that were turned to stone come back. And Picolo is just fine even though little Trunks broke him into pieces when he was a statue...he can regenerate you know. Anyways, as Vegeta still has his extra Majin Vegeta powers, he ends up beating Goku in their fight and then goes to fight Buu. He destroys Babidi's ship and then goes to where Buu is and he and Picolo think Gohan is dead, but I have a feeling he isn't. Vegeta proceeds to fight with Buu and knocks Buu quite a ways away, but realizes this alone won't stop him. He then has a very touching moment with Trunks where he apologizes for not being a good father. Then he knocks Trunks out with a blow to the head and then knocks out Goten with a punch to the stomach. Picolo steps in and realizes what Vegeta is planning on doing and helps to take the kids to safety. Picolo and Vegeta talk about how Goku got to keep his body after death because he saved the earth and did good deeds, but Vegeta's fate will be much different. He's been selfish and evil and will end up in hell, this last good deed won't be enough to save him. Picolo leaves with the kids and everyone evacuates the area. Vegeta then starts to fight Buu again and Vegeta builds up his power level and turns himself into a bomb. He uses every last bit of energy he has to destroy Buu, destroying himself in the process. It's perhaps the greatest DBZ episode I've seen thus far. I mean, Vegeta sacrificing himself to save the ones he has now come to realize he loves...it's a very touching moment. However, is Buu really dead? Nah...he's just splattered into a million little Buu pieces...and I really do mean little "Buu" pieces. You'll find out what I mean when the new eps start to air next year, January I think.

So, that's where it ends and my recap probably has a few holes, but that's all I can remember right now.

im a bit confussed...so the buu saga which takes place in one day is over?? and the whole story about gohan at school is after that? then buu comes back, which lasts for more than one day, yes? and once they stop buu again, dbz is over and gt appears? correct? anyone:).....

SPOILERS FOR FIRST HALF OF BUU SAGA
After Gohan kills Cell, and they make all the wishes, that was the end of the season over here. Then, we get the Otherworld tournament, which was five episodes. Then it's 7 years later, and Gohan's in high school. While in high school he gets blackmailed into competing in the World Tournament. And it's during this tournament that Babidi's minions attack Gohan, and then they go to Babidi's ship, learn about Buu, he gets hatched, and Vegeta fights him and then that was the last ep they showed.

There's about 53 more eps left in the Buu saga, I just wanna know when we're gonna see them.

I herd that there going to wait till next September to air the remaining episodes :( I really don't want to wait until then I hope they start airing them in January. I just got into DBZ and I love it especially this Saga so I can't wait for the rest

I also herd that CN will start airing Dragonball GT in 2003

The Buu saga is longer then a day. Urani Baba shows up to take Goku back to heaven half way through the saga, because his 24 hours are up. 24 hours+ non defeated Buu= longer then a day

No, this still a good 50-odd episodes left before it'll be over. Plus there's still Dragonball that has I *think* over 100 left to air here (and I think that it is DB, not DBZ, that will have new eps in January)

So there's still alot of fight left.

It's new episodes of Dragonball that we get towards the end of January.

DBZ? At the rate they're dubbing them, and the rate CN is running through the current batch, the earliest we'll get the new episodes on the air would be around mid February.

If they decide to wait until September to air the final batch of episodes I hope they have the sense to do a run that starts at the very beginning of DBZ, after the third run of the current episodes. I might have to kill somebody if they run season 5 continuously for 10 months. :mad:

I hope that too, because I can't remember much from the first two seasons. They used to air on Sunday mornings at 8 am, so I constantly found myself drifting back to sleep. And I just got CN about a year ago, when they started season 4, so I need them to rerun from the beginning so I can see seasons 1, 2, and 3! Plus, we don't want overkill of the constant eps, because they're so good and CN would just end up ruining a good thing.
