My brother subscribes to "Maxim" (a men's magazine), and they had a whole page w/ some cool pics of the new "The Dark Knight Strikes Again" comic coming out...I figured "Hey, I could just type out the entire article, and describe the pics.."..but then again, I have a scanner now, so here is the page I'm talking about:

http://www.geocities.com/jawa_tarpals/Keep/MaximBatman.jpg

You'll have to open a new window and copy the link into it (toonzone doesn't let geocities links work for some reason)...

It's big enough to read all the text I hope.. I didn't have any problem reading it...

oh yeah..since this magazine could be rated between PG-13 and R..I don't think there is anything in the review that would give it that rating..but, it's just a warning...

Wow, that's awesome!

I must have hung around here too long...the first thought I had when that came up was, "WOW, that image of Batman jumping with the gun would make a great avatar!"

Speaking of updates..dunno if this is newsworthy, but the TV station I work for here in Lubbock bought the rights, and is starting a cable only WB station, so Starting Dec. 1st Lubbock TX will once again have the WB. So Smallville, and other KidsWB shows will now be available.

The article in Maxim was great, as is the article in this upcoming week's Entertainment Weekly.

DC is really hyping this. I wonder, do you think that they're paying off some of these mags to run these previews?

DC is doing all they can to push this series. I think DC has paid a couple mags to run the article, but others are actually doing it themselves. Entertainment Weekly is doing a huge article on the book, which should generate more sales after the first issue hits on Dec. 5th.
