Why haven't they done Tangent in the last couple of years? I mean, do you know what kind of a cliffhanger they left us with? Just if anyone has heard any thing about the series.

Tangent was the baby of writer/artist Dan Jurgens. Instead of an Elseworlds type deal, where you had the "familiar characters in unfamiliar surroundings" going on, tangent was a worl unto itself. You had all the familiar names: GL, Wonder woman, Batman, Superman, Flash, etc; but they were completely different people. Example: The Flash was this girl who was conceived carried and born in space, next to these funky space rocks. The result was a seemingly normal girl with the exception of the fact that she was made of solid light, and raised in the public eye as a superhero. They ran it in '97, and '98 left the heroes and thier people in the middle of a crisis, and haven't been back there since. What happened? Sales not do well?

Tangent was a fifth week event that was meant to be a one-time thing. DC didn't plan to return to it. The books were supposed to all end with cliffhangers. Why I'm not sure, but that is how DC played it out.
Personally, I totally forgot about Tangent.

Dan Jurgens was a giant doo-doo head and a terrible writer. I'm glad he's gone, and I didn't read Tangent because of him.

I don't think that Tangent went all that well, but some of the characters that they came up with were kind of cool.

They actually did two series of Tangent books, I think. They said "Due to popular demand". I highly doubt it.
I have a few, but I got them for a quarter at a con and tried to read one, the Flash one, but I couldn't stand it. The pain...
