Both Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans will be ending with very promising arc finales. JLU's season finale will be a four part episode which will end the conspiracy arc. And TT's season will end with the three part "The End" in which it appears that Raven will face her father as the end of the world looms near. Both of these finales sound very promising. And I can't wait to see both of them.

JLU.

Not really much I can add to that.

JLU.

I've been waiting for the JLU S2 end since the arc was first announced. Even if I were more of a TT fan, the quality of "Starcrossed" shows me what the team is capable of doing when they set their minds to an epic.

Neither right now - the seasons have barely begun! I'm looking forward to all the episodes inbetween at this juncture.

Amazingly enough, its a toss up right now. Im not a huge Titans fan but the way they introduced the new story arc was very impressive to say the least. On the other hand, the JLU storyarc, while having much greater potential, has been somewhat lackluster in build up so far. We know its a human vs metahuman, or government vs. superhero type plot, (which already seems to have been done to death by Marvel unless I miss my guess). But other than Supergirl, I don't see anyone involved in this arc so far that is a character I can really sympathize with. The Ultimen were a decent attempt but I just cant take them seriously, to me "Ultimatum" was a Superfriends tribute, great for what it was but not the stuff to build a seasons spanning storyarc on. The story desperately needs to develop a "human element", and soon, and I don't mean a "human" as in "human vs metahuman". I mean, I need a reason to root for the heros, a focus. But we don't have one in this story yet. Maybe if they give Supergirl a more prominant role, she could fit the bill, If they try and make her the focus at the last minute when they try to conclude the conspiracy story arc, it will feel cheap.

That said, the TT thread has the advantage of being what? 2 weeks and 1 episode old? Plenty of time to screw that up yet.

Anyone got a coin?

Seriously, this is hard. Choose between TT, which, if "Birthmark" is any indication, looks to be the best arc the show's had yet, and possibly one if the best arcs ever...

...or JLU, with it's 4-part arc, the most epic the DCAU has ever seen (in terms of length)?

This is looking to be amazing, for both shows, as long as no one pulls an Aftershock...

JLU.Same here. I don't watch Teen Titans, so....:)

Probably JLU. I am not really that enthusiastic about it being a 4-parter, because it could get pretty boring if they don't get it right, and I wasn't crazy about Starcrossed.

If Teen Titans can live up to the standards set in Birthmark, then JLU has some big shoes to fill, but I need to see more than 1 good episode before I am convinced they have gotten over their season 3 slump.

I am looking forward to this week's episode. I'll take JLU one episode at a time.

JLU

While I love TT and watch it as well, it just not the same as JLU, IMO.

JLU if only because that is the arc I know I will enjoy watching. Honestly, I'm a little afraid of Teen Titans right now.:p

Honestly? It's a toss up for me. I'm still basking in the euphora of awesomeness that is "Birthmark", so I'm really pumped for the conclusion of Season 4's main arc. On the other hand, JLU's Conspiracy arc had an excellent kickoff in "Fearful Symmetry", and though it's been played a little roughly in some episodes, the fact that it manages to wind through so many of them makes me think that the final revelations are going to be earth-shattering. Plus, more conspiracy means more Supergirl and more Question, which is just awesome. :)

Of course, if they somehow managed to adapt "Tower of Babel" as part of the Conspiracy arc, that would totally tip the scales in favor of JLU...

JL season finales - out with a bang

TT season finales - buildup = good / end = super lame copout

JLU for me!

Admittedly, "Aftershock, Part 2" was a cop-out, and "Titans East", both parts, was kind of lame. But "Apprentice" was brilliant, a near-perfect cap to the Robin/Slade arc.

Given that Raven is a character with similar 'hidden depths', and she has a grudge against her father that equals if not exceeds Robin's hatred for Slade, this should be a fun ride.

Teen Titans hands down. I'm definitely thinking too far ahead, but after "Birthmark", I just can't help it. I've become rather bored with JLU. I just don't really give a crap about any of the characters. Didn't like "Starcrossed" either. JLU is basically something I watch just to see a good brawl. If the season finale gives me that, it'll have been worth the watch.

Yeah, that's about the size of it.

And I wasn't that into Birthmark either. It was almost all build-up to the point that nothing actually happened. I mean, you could have just read the episode description and left it at that.

I dunno. JL's had the most uninteresting story arc building up over season 1. Season 2 really needs to step it up in their continuation for me to be impressed. Teen Titans definitely has problems finishing off their 44+ minute episodes. But I think that, what with this being the original series closure point, they'll pull out all the stops here.
