Ok, I was really trying to avoid writing a poem for valentine's day. I the holiday, I detest it, I've been boycotting it for years now. Well go figure, I'd have a class assingment in creative writing to write a love poem. I at least tried to take it a different direction then most valentine's day poems go. By the way, if anyone has a better idea for a title please share, cause I this one. It's really shmultsy. Oh yeah- WARNING: THIS POEM SUX!
Love's music
I look over at her
so lovely there.
Sitting unloved, untouched,
motionless in her chair.
Walking over I pick
her up in my grasp,
and sit back down,
placing her in my lap.
I hold her close,
pressing her flesh to mine.
How could I resist
such beauty devine?
But even with all
her lucious curves,
It is truly her voice
that melts, that unnerves.
I run my hand down
her neck and her spine.
All that I need;
forever be mine.
I brush my hand
across her body
enticing her
to speak to me.
The vibrations running
through her seem
to excite her to wail,
cause her to moan and scream.
A love like this
entails all we are.
A love like how I feel
for my guitar.
Ok, please review! :D
