There is an add on this site advertising the entire 65 episode Justice League series on 14 DVDs. 65 episodes must be the 2 seasons of JL and the first season of JLU. That I understand. What I don't understand is why it needs 14 DVDs.

I have all the episodes on VHS tape, stright from cartoon network. At the 6hour speed, they fit on 6 tapes, 12 episodes per tape. So, if DVDs are soooo much better as I've heard - I have yet to buy one - and have a ton of space, why does it take 14 DVDs?

That sounds very illegal.

It's a technical question that doesn't really belong here, nor does talk about illegal bootlegs, but before the thread is closed:

It takes up 14 DVDs because it's made by some shameless halfwit who, apart from being a disgusting leech for making money off something that doesn't belong to him, has used consumer grade hardware to create the DVDs with very little understanding of how video compression works or how to get the best compromise between size and quality.

Still, with WB's lack of commitment to this series so far, I guess it's not hard to understand why some people are happy to pay for these things.
