The World's Finest on Toonami

This Friday, Cartoon Network will air the three part Superman episode "The World's Finest" during their Toonami block as apart of their "In-Flight Movies" program. The movie will air beginning at 5:30pm (ET).

The three part episode, written by Stan Berkowitz, Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, Rich Fogel, and Steve Gerber, mark the first time the two heroes meet. The episode was originally supposed to air before The New Batman Adventures premiered on Kids'WB! in 1997, but the three part episode was help off until October of that year. In the three part episode, released as a 'movie' in 1998 to VHS, involves Batman and Superman reluctantly teaming up to battle Lex Luthor and The Joker.

World's Finest will air this Friday at 5:30pm (ET) on Cartoon Network.
