Close one for me between Amazo and Galatea, loved both episodes, and they each had a great build up.
Amazo wins out because not only had he wiped up the League the first time, but they basically knew they could do nothing upon his return. It was a great feeling of dread and desperation as they set up wave after wave of failed deterrents. Pretty great. Good thing Fate is around with that cool clubhouse! :anime:

Mongul for sure. Out of all of these characters that have already appeared before Mongul's was the biggest improvement. Eric Roberts brought this character to life with some great dialogue. As for the other characters, that appeared for the first time they reallly weren't as good as Mongul.

Chronos, the undisputed master of space and time.

Hmm... one at a time...
Ares had potential. His appearance in Hawk and Dove, however, null all of that potential. In fact, he may be too far gone to salvage.
Chronos was too insane for me. The thing was, he was sane in the first part of his two-parter... a bit of a ninny, but sane. Then suddenly he was a power starved nutjob who overlooked the fact that all of creation was crumbling around him.
Mordred... beh. I liked "Kid's stuff" a great deal, but come on... how much trouble could a ten year old with ultimate magic really be?
Circe is definately one of my favorite characters from this season. I wouldn't call her a villain though. She is wicked (more mischievous I think), but it wasn't like she was out to rule the world.
Amazo is like Circe in that he wasn't a true villain in my eyes. Besides, he switched sides at the end of the episode.
Solomon Grundy, again, doesn't fall into the villain catagory for me. He does get my vote for most destructive re-animated corpse.
Galatea... hmm... the more I think about her, the more I like her as a foe. She was complex and mysterious. Love that! I was on the fence about the episode overall, but I did like Galatea. (Too bad I'm not crazy about Supergirl).
Mongul gets my vote for most improved villain from a previous season. He was a lot more malevolent. Anyone that can give smackdown to the Big 3 is someone who should be respected.
Mordru is at the bottom of my list simply because he was taken out by Elongated Man. :D Actually, he wasn't the focus of the episode he was in, so I cannot count him.
Tobias was a big loser. I liked the episode, but didn't like him.
Ultimately, I voted for Mongul.

I voted for Chronos, if only because I've liked the character and Peter MacNicol did a fantastic job, but Circe and Mordred were pretty good, Brimstone was incredibly cool, and Amazo and Grundy were exciting. Ares, Mongul and Galatea didn't do a whole lot for me, but they were alright. No weak links really, but I'm looking forward to seeing a few more familiar faces.
Have a good day then.
