If you look on Amazon.com the set ranks currently at #961. If that's still out of 40,000 (maybe 50,000 now) ranked DVDs, that might be info you can use.

I forget what it was on 12/7 however (higher is all I can say)... ;)

[Oh... and that number is very good... not top 100 obviously... but 2 months after release very good.]

The sales rank on December 7th was #123. There was one time in September where it reached #119 so... I have high hopes that it sold very well and that we'll get season two. Here's hoping. :D

Well... that's very very good numbers there - especially since it stayed pretty high for over 2 to 3 months. Not only would I say it sold well... but it might even make Disney take notice on some other shows.

I would also say that bodes well for a Season 2 Set... *crosses fingers*... but don't quote me on that ;)

Has anyone put out a 52-episode boxset? I'm thinking Gargs Season 2 will be put out in parts like GIJoe and Transformers.

A fifty-two episode box? Think about price.

People like to buy things in installments... like cars.

Then again... parts might be better like Toonmaster says.

But I think they can fit 4 hours on a DVD without lowering the quality of the image and/or sound. Or would doing that cause a problem with either (anyone know)?

- Mike

[Actually - make that 3 hours per DVD - approximately 22 minutes per episode]

GregX do we know anything yet? I really want the other Disney Cartoons to follow.

I certainly hope other Disney TV series' from the golden era of the Disney Afternoon make the transition to DVD, starting with either Darkwing Duck and Talespin and Ducktales, and then spreading out from there.

As I've said a million times, I'd buy these in a heartbeat.
