KIDS' WB! WELCOMES ONE OF THE ORIGINAL X-MEN CHARACTERS
TO "X-MEN: EVOLUTION" IN A SPECIAL HOLIDAY EPISODE
ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15
JOIN YOUR FAVORITE KIDS' WB! CHARACTERS AS THEY CELEBRATE
AT XAVIER MANSION WITH THE "HOLIDAY SOCK PARTY"
DURING A HOLIDAY-THEMED MORNING
BURBANK, CA (November 28, 2001) --
'Twas the week before Christmas, when in Xavier's house
Not a Pokémon was stirring, not even a mouse
The Scrolls of Thebes were hung by the magic portals with care,
In hopes that Jackie Chan soon would be there
The characters were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of #1 ratings danced in their heads;
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
The Mummy sprang from his tomb to see what was the matter.
Away to the netherworld he appeared in a flash,
Screamed "open the shutters; get rid of the sash."
When, what to Imhotep's red eyes should appear,
But a Kids' WB! sleigh, with eight favorite charact-deer
With an imperfect wizard, so full of chi spells
It was clear that Jackie's Uncle was alive and well.
More wise than owls his friends they all came,
And he chanted, and shouted and called them by name;
"Now, Yu-Gi!, now Tohru!, now Iceman and Magma!
On Cubix! on Ash! on, Angel and Pika!
To the top of the charts! To the top of the wall!
Now high-adventure! Humor and Heart for all!"
And then, in a twinkling, was heard on the roof
The prancing and playing and then a big poof!
All dressed in bright colors, from their head to their foot,
And coughing and laughing about the ashes and soot;
Pika's eyes ń how they twinkled! Ash's dimples how merry!
Yu-Gi's cheeks were like roses, Magma's nose like a cherry!
The new X-Men Angel was drawn up like a bow,
With the wings on his back as white as the snow;
Then Jade appeared from the sleigh ń she had snuck underneath,
And her excitement encircled her like a holiday wreath;
She teased the good Tohru who has a round belly,
That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.
Then down the stairs came all the characters to play
On Saturday, December 15 for their sock party day
All the kids heard them exclaim, ere they went out of sight,
"Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good-night!"
