REALLY? It's being released March 12th now??? Well, I'm still buying the T&J Magic Ring movie on DVD, and I'm considering getting the first T&J movie. But the only reason I might get the first T&J movie is because at the Yahoo site, it says two bonus T&J cartoons are on each of the DVDs. Hmm...

I have higher hopes for this movie than the last one since they've assured us that T&J will not talk, but I'm renting it before I even think of buying it. I'm really hoping that computer effects (what they most likely used to paint the "cels") will have allowed them to get the quality of this feature up to the standards of the best T&J cartoons, and that it won't be too gimicky or "Look at us, we act like Tom and Jerry."

I hope this video is in 1.78:1 for widescreen TV's.

WB has made most of their direct-to-video movies at 1.33:1 fullframe, but this IS 2001.

Even Disney makes their direct-to-video films in widescreen.
