In the Nicktoons forum, I posted a deleted scene from the Hey Arnold! story "Olga Gets Engaged" in the "dastardly deed" thread. Now, I'm posting a deleted scene from the other story of that ep, "Stinky Goes Hollywood". I was thinking, "Why weren't Stinky's supportive friends, his dad, and his family's low financial status brought into consideration before he turned the contract down?" Thus, this deleted scene. This here takes place after the bit where Stinky is bouncing a ball and sees himself on a Yahoo billboard. So, Stinky has just walked down from the building where he bounced the ball, where Arnold comes across him.

A: Thought I'd find you here. ...So, what if you're not as special as think you are? That doesn't mean you can't make a living off that...
S: Rub it in why doncha? It just sounds dirty, the way they made me think ah were a great actor...
A: True... but there are a few things you have to think about. I saw your cottage, and it's really not the best place to live in this city...
S: So?
A: I'm pretty sure that your dad wants to take the chance to move to better places, and he expects you to sign the contract for that to happen. Besides, your family isn't exactly well off, you know?
S: Uh-huh. An' then?
A: For the past couple weeks, many of your classmates, like me, have been supportive of your success. Sid didn't even expect you to get the part, and he's looking up to you now.
S: Whassat supposed to mean???
A: If you turn down the contract tonight, you'll be hearing the words "What an idiot" coming from some of your friends. You'll lose their respect.
S: Wail, ah already heards them producer types callin' me an idiot already. They's tramplin' all over mah dignity like a doormat er somethin'. An' besides, ah reckon if ah does more'a these things, ah dun think anyone'll be lookin' up to me inna long run...
A: So, why don't you just tell them the truth?
S: Ya kiddin'? They's Hollywood folk. They's prolly gonna be deceivin' me into signing if ah tells them what ah know gone down at the studio.
A: That doesn't sound good, but as you might say, your ears aren't deceiving you. Besides, I've always thought that truth isn't overrated...
S: Wail, to quote a movie ah saw: "Reality Bites." Nuff said.
A: Hmm... Listen, I'll just leave you to consider what we just discussed, and I'll be looking on you at your cottage tonight to see how it works out.
S: 'Kay, Arnold. Bye.

So, what do you think?
