An Oliver & Company fan fic - Based upon The Lion King 1.5 (TLK 3)

Dodger and Rita are sitting in a dark hall in the Virgin cinema on Times Square, and they have watched "Oliver & Company" as Dodger rewinds the movie.

Rita asks Dodger "What are you doing?" and Dodger says "Rewinding to the beginning where it all started long before the movie!"

The camera is zooming in on New York City, and the picture turns black and white, as old photos of Dodger and Rita´s parents journey aboard an immigration ferry to Ellis Island are shown, and Dave Grusins "Between Old & New York" are played.

Then are black and white photos of the harbor, where Fagin and Sykes lived, and before it rotten up in the 1980s, was it a busy and lively place for freights, industrial work, and many pubs and cafes.

We are starting the story of Dodger and his friends in a poor ghetto in Bronx, where Dodger the homeless, and streetwise dog was born.

After Dodger had moved away from his parents, was he living with stealing food, finding girlfriends, and fighting against the lawless street dogs, that were wanted for kidnapping, violence and bank robberies.

Dodger starred in the Ringling Bros Circus, and he was in Break Dance competitions against other gang members on the street.

A late evening as Dodger took a walk in the poor ghetto in Chelsea, was he seeing a female Afghan dog that was held up in a corner by two male Dobermans, and Dodger confronted the two male dogs.

Dodger defeated the two dogs, and before they ran away was one of them saying to Dodger "Just you wait!

The Doberman continued "Me and my partner are coming back for you later! Our names are Roscoe and Desoto, and we are owned by our leader Sykes!"

As the two Doberman dogs ran out on the streets, was Dodger saying to the female dog "Hi My name is Dodger, and I come from the ghetto in Bronx!"

The female dog said "My name is Rita, and I live in this ghetto, but I lived in a bigger house on Fifth Avenue before with my owners, who had a casino, but Sykes ruined them, and I got homeless!"

Dodger said "I have seen much bad things about Sykes in the newspapers and magazines, but I haven´t met him before!"

Rita said "I was on the way to the Dangerfields comedy club!" and Dodger asked "Can I follow you on the way?" and Rita said "Sure!"

Dodger pushed the pause button, and Dodger said "That was the part where we first met each other that evening!" and Rita asked Dodger "And what about the other gang members?"

On the harbor by the Brooklyn Bridge was the poor man Fagin living with his street dogs that came all over the world.

It was Francis from Paris, Einstein from Flensburg in Germany and Tito from Mexico City, and soon was Dodger and Rita giving them company.

Sykes who lived in a ruined warehouse on the harbor, had control over Fagin, and in the meanwhile was the dogs fighting against Roscoe and Desoto, and they stole from cars and stores to give their owner money.

The kitten Oliver lived with his owners and his family from Union Square, until the kittens got sold on the street.

None wanted to buy Oliver, so the kitten took out on the streets, where he met Dodger, and followed him to Sykes houseboat.

Back in the cinema where Dodger and Rita sat, was the picture on the screen beginning to be erupted, and buzzing and whining sound came from the speakers.

Dodger asked Rita "Did you use a recorded video without any label?" and Rita said to Dodger "No I did not!"

Bizarre images from The Triplets Of Belleville got shown on the screen in fast flashes, and finally where the screen showing pictures from New York City again.

After the part where Fagin and his dogs fought against Sykes and his Dobermans was Dodger pushing on the pause button, as he saw the picture of World Trade Center under the moonlight.

Rita asked Dodger "What now?" and Dodger said to Rita "I am enjoying this romantic picture of New York City by night!"

Rita and Dodger are holding each other, as "Tonight I Celebrate My Love For You" is playing, and scenes of Rita and Dodger on the top of World Trade Center a late evening are displayed, as they are watching over the illuminated city.

By the moments after where Oliver got taken home to Jenny, and Dodger and his gang have decided to free Oliver, are Dodger pushing on the pause button.

Dodger says to Rita in the moment before the rescue of Oliver "I am going to get us some popcorn and soda before the finale scenes Rita!" and then are Dodger going out in the foyer.

As Dodger comes back is Dodger beginning to play the movie again, but a fitness channel is displayed instead, and Dodger says to Rita "Wrong channel, sorry!"

The gang rescues Oliver from Jennys house, and takes him home to their houseboat, as the strides begin, and Fagin comes home and think that everything is hopeless, until he thinks about getting money to Sykes.

Under Fagin and Dodgers visit in Sykes warehouse, where Fagin saves their life with a plan, are Jenny visiting Sykes under her try to get her kitten back, as Sykes and his dogs spies on them.

Rita pauses the movie and says to Dodger "I don´t like this final part very much Dodger!" and Dodger says to Rita "Cool down Rita!" and holds her tight.

The movie continues with the chase from Sykes warehouse to the subway, and at last the Brooklyn Bridge, where Sykes and his pets are meeting their fate, as Oliver are saved.

That day after the chase is Jenny going to celebrating her birthday, and Fagin and his gang of dogs are invited to the party.

To a surprise is Jenny´s parents calling home, and they said they were coming home from their vacation in Europe, and Tito and Georgette tried to live a happy life together without luck.

While Fagin drove home to the harbor, where Dodger and his friends singing, dancing and making acrobatic tricks on their way home through the streets after they said goodbye to Jenny and her family.

Before the movie ends are some extra scenes shown, where Jenny finally meets her parents in John F. Kennedy Airport, Dodger and Rita gets married, and Sykes´ warehouse are repaired.

Sykes warehouse were made into a dog nightclub, where Dodger and Rita held their wedding party, as Tito became a disc jockey, and Einstein and Francis worked in the bar.

As the end credits rolls over the screen, is Dodger and Rita suddenly having guests, and the shadows of Oliver, the rest of the dog gang, Jenny, her parents, Winston, Georgette, Bernard, Bianca and The Rescue Rangers are visible.

But more guests are coming at last, and Dodger says to Rita "Oh no! We have to sit through it all we just saw again!"

Thunderbolt, Lightning, Pongo and Perdita, and all their 101 Dalmatians pubs are coming too, and the audience cheers and claps loudly, as the movie title pops up on the screen for the third time.

WOW! what a prequel to "Oliver and Company", you and i are major Oliver and Company, glad to see another supporter of O&C which is in my opinion the most criminally underrated Disney movie ever.

Maybe you should write a "Oliver and Company 2" fanfic, it would kick *****
