I don't watch the show or follow the news for it - Anyone have ratings reports? Any chance it could go off the air soon? :anime:

It's renewed through season three as I recall, so no, it's not going off the air anytime soon. Kids seem to love it, so it's not going anywhere.

If you don't like the show (I'm guessing you don't, judging by your wanting it off the air), then I don't know why you care what it's status is.

Bat embargo.

Also, I could go into a huge rant about how the show is bad for the Batman franchise, but I won't.

EDIT: If you're right about the 3 year renewal, you can lock this now :(

I always knew little kids were morons when it comes to good TV. Seriously, the reason it does so well is because of all the flashy action. Now if it was something like Teen Titans, that'd be a different story, but this is Batman! Seriously, I fear for new generations they're going to end up thinking this is what Batman should be like. If they'd actually notice the writing of the show. They'd realize how bad it is.

Kids don't care about the quality of the writing, they care about what flashes on the screen. I didn't give one rats ass about the depth of BTAS or TNBA or STAS or BB as a kid, I just liked the pretty pictures and explosions. Now, of course I pay attention to the writing; throw me back seven or eight years and it just doesn't matter.

And I must be the only one who doesn't care about the Bat-Embargo. Last Saturday showed me that JLU doesn't need Batman's friends or Batman at all. I'm sure we all love the characters...but honestly. If the creative team can move past it, then I don't see why the fans can't as well.

I don't want this to seem like I'm locking this just so I can "get the last word" in, but I know where this threads going to go by the posts in it already. You guys don't like The Batman? Then stop discussing it. As long as it's getting discussed and watched, it's going to be on the air.
