Galaxy Angel Z Volume 2: When?!

The second volume of Galaxy Angel Z was supposed to be released on January 4th. But I haven't seen it in any stores so far, and just tonight I read that this DVD has been delayed for an indefinite amount of time. And animeondvd.com lists its release date as 2012 (granted, I know that's their default when no date is set, but still). Anyone know when this might be released? And what caused the delay? Was it the warehouse flood?

At the moment, there's no word yet as to the reason of the title's delay or its new release date. As for an actual response to the question, the earliest that one will come (if my hunch is correct) will be in two weeks, as I have a feeling this will be brought up at the Bandai panel at Katsucon (if there is one, which I'm 80% sure there will be).

UPDATE: Bandai will indeed have a panel at Katsucon Saturday afternoon (unfortunately for me, it's at the same time as the AMV Awards ceremony).

Hmm... possibly announced in two weeks. OK good- as long as it hasn't been put on indefinite hiatus. You always wonder with anime that is delayed without explanation if certain series' license contracts run out- like what happened with Sailor Moon and ADV.

Anyone else think it was odd that Galaxy Angel Z Vol. 1 didn't come with a collector's box? The original Galaxy Angel did (I foolishly didn't get the box, though), and yet GA Z doesn't. Which also means that there are no special collector's items like the girl miniatures.

OT, looking at how the episodes split up, there should be three volumes of Galaxy Angel Z total. Which means that if Volume 2 is released in, I dunno, March, it might not be until late April or early May before we can finish out the season! :shrug:

Looks like Bandai finally has a street date for Galaxy Angel Z Vol. 2- it's April 26th. Volume 3 follows on June 14th, closing out the season.
