Any one else want to see the Golden Age Flash and Green Lantern show up in JLU?? I know they were banned from the First Season of the League but with Wild Cats Apperance this week and other members of the JSA in the Back Ground why shouldnt they have a Vist from Alan and Jay??

With the appearance of the JGA in JL season 1, I wouldn't put money on an appearance by either Jay Garrick or Alan Scott. Then again, I wouldn't have wagered on an appearance by Hal Jordan (if what I've read in the TOAFT2 talkback is true; I wish YTV would air it earlier) in a JLU episode either so you never know. I think it'd be great to see the entire JSA roster (and I'm glad that a lot of JSAers have had cameos).

Oh, I'd love to see them. And Barry Allen too. But then again, I'm not going to hold my breath. We have Wildcat, Midnite, and the others because there's no JLA equivalent. The JLU already have a Flash and Green Lantern.

Why stop there... they should feature the JSA. Afterall, it's he JSA that inspired the JLA to join together.

In the comics atleast.

That doesnt seem to be the motivation for Superman forming The League on the animated series. Although that could always change. Maybe he was reading some old news articles on the JSA and got the idea to do the same after The invasion from Secret Origins.

The League already boasts several people who are or have been members of The JSA in the comics (Wildcat, Black Canary, Mr. Terrfic, Stars, Stripes, The Vigilante, The Shinning Knight, Atom Smasher). So im not against seeing the veterans but I dont think it will happen.

Even as a kid I recognized that is what set DC apart and made them better then Marvel. DC's rich history and legacy of it's characters is one of my favorite aspects of the comics. Although I do think 40's era characters should stay in the 40's, Earth 2 or in semi retirement only to be used on the "big" stories. (except Fate...he is a mystic after all) I dislike how they have been relegated to the background in JLU...

I think it would be interesting to see the SSoV and JSA characters to talk about how they are displaced in time and Waverider helps them back home to the 40's. Remember in Save Time they did imply that the All Star Squadron did exists...

Alan Scott is my favourite Lantern, so I'd love to see him animated. But they should approach it like Brubaker did in his excellent Detective Comics Batman/Scott team-up: Show Scott as a great hero from the past, who looked over Gotham long before the Dark Knight was even a glimmer in young Bruce's eye. An unsolved case he worked on decades ago pops up in modern times, and he comes out of retirement to help the League get to the bottom of it.

If they can squeeze in the Crimson Avenger (in his original rip-off-of-The-Shadow costume, no less), they can find a place for the Golden Age Flash and Green Lantern.

I would love an Hour Man episode.
It would prob be hard to pull off a one man story in Jlu but maybe Hourman has been a part of the Jlu and starts his own team the HourMen that what else... turn evil:evil:

I always preferred the Linda carter version of WW's 40's exploits, and we kinda already got that in Savage Time. Plus it would ruin Hippolyta's character development in Fury, if she had previously spent time in Man's world during WWII.

Well, she could always go back in time like her comic book counterpart....

Then again, I hate time travel.

I like Time travel, but retroactively changing the past only makes things confusing...Donna Troy post crisis springs to mind! :rolleyes2

Hyppolyta becoming the Golden Age WW actually made things *Less* confusing in the comics, if you can believe it

not really, she altered the future by altering the past. I don't mind "missing
tales as much as I mind time travel episodes that change history! WW has been all screwed up since the crisis.
