My room mate took it out ONE time this year...that includes last semester...
I was sick of it...so I haven't touched it. Been throwing EVERYTHING of mine away in the bathroom...well here is my dorm WASTE PAPER BASKET that he thinks is a trashcan, note I put the trashbag in b/c otherwise there would never be one...

Ugh why can't it be legal to murder some people? Only the ones that deserve it :).

Dude, just take a low radius explosive and blow the thing up.
I mean just one m-80 would solve your problem...

Or, you can tell yer mate "no soup for you!!"
Or something. Just dump it in yer mate's room.

Hey it could be worse, he could also desposit his saliva and muscus right ontop of the boxes. And the can would be lined with soda bottles and soda cans filled with urine because he doesn't want to leave his chair.
and yes I had to put up with this

College years are usually wild and in the midst of it you learn some things. Anyways I should suggest for your mate to sign up in home economics 101 or release some cockroaches into your dorm room and see what happens to him. Maybe he learn a lesson from tidiness

No guy in college should that be lazy with trash, if it's half responsibility for him to take it out.

You should probably fill his pillow cases with the trash.
And then throw away his pillows. Claim "incompetence" if he gets angry with you.

Yeah, I don't think he's really picking up on the message. It might be another two weeks before he says something like "Hey, it's gettin' kinda messy in here," and then goes back to his regular business. You might get better results by just saying "Take out the damn trash, it's a mess in here, and you've only taken it out once. This is gross."

No no no believe me I'm far from anti-confrontational, I just never really realized it til this week so I decided to go a week without doing it, I made his ass walk out in the ice and throw it out 2 hours ago :)

there's no need to start a war over something so trivial.
you already made him do it, so he is aware that it's a problem now. good. it doens't need to resort to silly pranks or possibly hazardous situations (how would you like it if he got some weird disease cuz he got some bacteria fromt he trash on his bed)
when i was in college my roomates and I were pretty good about that kind of stuff, sometimes the dishes would pile up, but it would get done by whoever it bothered the most at the time.

At school, the 7th grade has trash duty for about 2 months. The bags get so full, that when you carry em, they explode. Once, this is kinda gross, but I picked one up, the dumpster was full, so I had to throw. I held it above me, got ready, aimed, and BOOM! It exploded. Milk, nasty pizza, and everything to be named. BUt guess what, someone got sick and threw up in the god-forsaken bag. I had to go home. I have never felt so humiliated, aside from when Sam panced me during gym class. Ugh, I hate trash.

Man..... that's awful.
I normally throw out the trash at home, since my brother won't do it.
