uhh i was just wondering if i can write a fic outside DC comics? like a metal gear solid fic? idk. im still a newbie to this and i still dont know what i can and cant write fics about

If you're going to be posting fics of that sort then I will promptly move them over to The Story Board, there will be no closing. Though, because I told you beforehand if you go on and post it here then I'll be forced to issue you an official warning. So play "Choose your own Adventure" with this one and just post it over on the Story Boards.

Also: You cannot lock a thread, only a mod can do that.
