Any of you insiders know what episodes are coming up? (Both titles and plots?)

Hey there,

Do any of you insiders (I don't know how some of you guys get such accurate information before everyone else does) know the titles and/or basic plots of upcoming Justice League episodes? I'm dying of curiosity to know!!!

For example, when does Joker, Lex Luthor, Aquaman, Darkseid & his Empire of Apokolips, Hawkman, and Green Lantern-Kyle Rainer make their first appearances? (I'm sure Darkseid won't be until Season 2, but I just put him on the list because he deserved to be there.)

For example, this is the kind of list I'm looking for:

1-3 "Secret Origins" Aliens attack Earth, and the Justice League forms. Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman appear for the first time.

4-5 "In Blackest Night" A Green Lantern story. Involves Justice League (minus Batman and Wonder Woman) leaving Earth for a while. Green Lantern Corps and Oa make their first appearance.

6-7 "The Enemy Below" ??? ???

8-9 "???" ??? ???

10-11 "???" ??? ???

...anyway, you get the idea. Thanks for any help that can be offered! :)

I know about this stuff because I browse way too many comic news sites.

Let's see what I can help you with:

Lex Luthor and the Joker (along with Star Sapphire, the Shade, Copperhead, the Ultra-Humanite, Cheetah, and Solomon Grundy) will be showing up this season in a two-part (?) Injustice Gang episode.

Darkseid won't be showing up until Season 2 (if then, because Season 2 hasn't been written yet).

Metamorpho will show up in a two-part episode this season.

As for Hawkman and Kyle Rayner, who knows? They may or may not show up at all.

Right now all the episode names are kind of up in the air. There's one called The Demon Story (with Etrigan the Demon and some guy named Mordrid) that's coming up; as well as one called The Brave and the Bold, which has the Flash and Green Lantern taking on Gorilla Grodd. There's another one coming up that's either called The Savage Time--but this may or may not be the same episode that was referred to as Legends in another press release.

Hunt around. You'll find stuff.

I wonder... does the Injustice Gang really refer to themselves by that name, or do you suppose that's the name that the press in Dini & Timm's world gave them?

In the comics, they very much refered to themselves as the Injustice Gang. Hope that stays.

Can't help ya with Metamopho. I love the character, but I don't know enough specifics of his origin.

Besides what's been mentioned, Maria Canals (Hawkgirl) said there would be an episode called "Legends" which shows the JL in a 60's/Superfriends style (okay, she said 50's, but the League wasn't around then). She didn't give much, but it sounds to be good. Kinda like "Legends of the Dark Knight."

According to Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe, Metamorpho, the Element Man originally was a man named Rex Mason. Eager to marry his girlfriend Sapphire Stagg, Rex accepted an offer by her father (Simon Stagg) to retrieve the Orb of Ra, which was reputed to possess mystic powers. However, Simon didn't want them to marry, so he arranged to trap Rex in the Egyptian pyramid in which it was contained. Attempting to escape, he was transformed by the Orb into Metamorpho--a being capable of transforming his body into any element (or parts of him into different elements).

Hey squall, if you go to the thread "An episode list -- anyone know more?" on this board, the same subject is being covered in more detail there. All but two episodes have been named and summarized to some extent.
