--and a UC BFG in "Jerry's Diary" to boot. There's hope! Maybe I can see something like "Nit-Witty Kitty" or "Mouse Cleaning" without staying up until a godawful hour on Friday night!
"Royal Cat Nap" is what Tom and Jerry would be if Tex Avery had directed them, using his famous "quiet" gag. Plus a couple of near-asphyxiations of a monarch by foreign objects in the throat! Look carefully--in one scene Tuffy is miscolored brown, so it appears Jerry is on both ends of the table simultaneously. And I'm pretty sure that's the same actress voicing him as Fifi in Avery's "The Flea Cirus".

Well, you can always set your VCR Saturday night to record the rare Tom and Jerrys, instead of staying up late. You'll probably get Nit-Witty Kitty eventually, but there's no way CN is airing Mouse Cleaning uncut.
Boy, yesterday's showings came outta left field didnt they?
BTW, if you wanna talk about strange technical nigs, check out That's My Pup. Several times in this cartoon Tom and Jerry appear without whiskers on the right side of their faces.
Finally, I hadda wait until Scooby Doo ended to watch Tom and Jery today, and then I watched Bugs and Daffy. After that Scooby Doo aired again. Who else is sick of Scooby Doo?!

I was pretty fed up with him in November of 1969, but unfortunately the God of Television didn't make our household a Nielsen family at that time or I could have done something about it...
