View Full Version : Who Shouldn't Be in the JL cartoon? (Main Character)

I personally believe that putting Hawkgirl in the JL series was ridiculous, considering the fact that Hawkman is not. I'd choose Aquaman, Hawkman and Green Arrow over Hawkgirl anytime. Plus, she really is annoying.
I'm not to crazy about John Stewart being the Green Lantern. They should have picked Hal Jordan, Kyle Raynor, or even Alan Scott over John Stewart; the most forgotten Green Lantern.
I like the way Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Flash & the Martian Manhunter are portrayed.

I think that the lineup that they came up with was perfect.

Same here. The line-up for the JL roster is perfect in my opinion. I didn't reall ylke that Snapper Carr cameo - so I'd boot him. :)
The roster is perfect, IMO.

I concur, I love the lineup. There's diversity in personality, which i care most about. And Hawkgirl's underdeveloped persona in the comic world can be taken advantage of in the Animated Series.

Wheres the "none of the above" selection ?
and secondly Hawkman was never a Founder of the Justice League either Pre or Post- Crisis.

Yeah, where is the none of the above option? I love this lineup. I even like it better than the current comic lineup in DC.

The number 1 person who should NOT be in JL is:
HAWKMAN!
Why? - Because there is no need to muddle up Hawkgirl's story with him. Only comic book fans and watchers of the SuperFriends know about Hawkman. The Hawk idea started with Hawkman and Hawkgirl was always looked on as a secondary character created out of Hawkman, like Supergirl, and Batgirl.
But if we start with Hawkgirl, and never mention her hubby awkman, she becomes an entity unto herself. A hero who can stand on her own terms.
She has been presented on the show as Indepedent, Capabale, and Resourceful. Why dilute her by itroducing a character which would overshadow her and make everyone ask the age old question: "Why do we need them both?"
Keep Hawkgirl as the only Hawk in JL.

Wonder Woman is the character who shouldn't be on the show. I really prefer a League without her, as long as we have Hawkgirl. Hawkgirl is the best addition to that League as could ever been created.
If everyone else leaves and we still have Hawkgirl and the Flash, I'll be very well satisfied.
However, I do NOT want Hawkman join, or even be introduced in the series. I like Hawkgirl being her own person, and I want her to remain in the Justice Society in the current DC continuum.

Why Wonder Woman? Aside from Batman and Superman she's the most known and she's never had her own animated show, what sexism.

I don't think there's anybody on the team who shouldn't be.

I like the league the way it is now, I wouldn't change any of the members! :D :D no way no how! great lineup in my opinion!
Also it wouldn't be the JL if there isn't no WW. Everytime I think of the JL team the first to come to my mind are Supes bats and WW!
No WW! no way no how! :D

Unless we get a "leave it as it is" option in that poll, I can't vote! It would be like asking which limb do I want to lose! Those characters are all so perfect together.

The lineup works well. All the characters have something to give to the team. :)
