Looking for help on newspapers in which to be published...

I'll say it right up front - what's the name of a local community paper in your region? If you could tell me then I'd be most appreciative.

Over the past few weeks I've been hitting all of the local papers in my region with my wares, and with some success. It seems, however, that this success will also be met with long waiting periods and no guarantees that I'll be published any time soon, if ever.

I've done searches on the internet, but really, I don't know how credible some of these papers I find are - I don't necessarily trust them all, since I haven't heard of them.

So, that's why I'm asking all of you - anyone that is interested, that is - if you could give me the name of a local community paper (not necessarily the big daily papers) in your area, so I could broaden my search across the continent. Canada, USA - hell, I'll even go to Britain, Australia, New Zealand, anywhere that is english - anything there would be most helpful.

I thank you all, anyone that took the time to read this and/or contribute some information for me - or any other budding writers here, actually.
