Hey, I don't post here that often. But, I'm a regular over at the AniGen board. haha. Anyway, I thought this was worth posting...

Today at school, we had an assembly. Our class president & vice president usually direct the assemblies. But after everyone was assembled, they put on a big "where are they??" thing. Then the lights went dim, & they ran out dressed as Batman & Robin. Later, they were joined by Catwoman & the Joker. Sure, perhaps they played the Batman Beyond theme song during the entire assembly....but.........
I don't think I'll ever be able to look at anything Batman related ever again without laughing my butt off. Yup. It was enough to make you want to put a spork in your eye. *sigh*...although the girl in the Catwoman suit actually looked the part very well. Although she didn't know how to use a whip very well..haha..

Anyway...I'm just letting everyone know that when Batman: Year One comes out...I don't think I'll be able to see it. *sigh*...why'd they do that?!

They did a similar thing when I was in high school. It never works! It always looks so corny. I don't know if I would laugh or just groan while rolling my eyes. Maybe a bit of both.

At least somebody at your school's got a sense of humor...

Smoething close to that story. A friend of my dad's went to a costime party and was dressed as Batman. It was one of those really expensive all the way costumes. So he goes in and the first person he runs across asks him "Who are you supposed to be?" He was dead serious. I feel sorry for that guy...

I remember reading that when he was in college Gene Siskel (the late, bald half of the infamous duo) once ran thru the library of the University of Chicago while wearing a Batman costume.

When I read that, my respect for him went up by about 80%.

Hehe, when my nephew Gunnar was about three he loved Batman. He would always wear his black cape complete with cowl, even when we went on vacation to Florida. The kid thought he was hot stuff when walked through the lobby to the pool with it on one day over his swimtrunks. :D
