Hey returning from a long hiatus since my PC broke down. Anyway most of you probably don't remember me.

So I got my PC up running again my my main PC and this piece of crap is online with Walmart Connect which basically is Bootleg AOL. It connects via AOL, so yeah. I don't like it.

I was wondering if ya'll know of an ISP that I can use that does NOT have the interface with email and newtickers and all that stuff. I am NOT using it anyway.

Sadly stuck with 56k for now so which Dial Up service would be the best?

I just wanna get online and I don't need 8mb of space for a webpage, 5 different emails and Messenger programs. I just wanna get online.

thanks

I don't know which ISPs have access numbers for you in Denmark, but I always recommend this site (http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/index.php)for delving into the best ISPs out there.

I'd say check your local ISPs.

The Good Ol'e phone book'll have a list of them. Call around and get some rates. (Though if you pay more than $14.99 a month for unlimited Dialup, limited usenet, and 1 e-mail account, then you're paying too much. )

(It took three months of trying different services for a month before I found one that I had a truly good connection to at home... because when it's dialup, you're also at the mercy of the Phone Company's Routers and virtual routers)

I have Wal-Mart, and its like a much-cheaper, bare-bones version of AOL.
