I have two scenes from classic Simpsons that I can't remember which episodes they are from.

I don't know why I thought of them, but I can't seem to remember. :) Maybe someone here can help me.

The first one I'm wondering about is where Homer has the swear jar. What episode is that from?

And the second, again I don't know why I thought of it, but I haven't seen it on the DVD's yet. It's just a small joke, but I'd like to know. It's a scene in church when the collection plate comes around and Homer puts a coupon for 50 cents off Shake n' Bake in it. I think I'm wanting to know because after that first aired, a friend of mine did that in our church as a gag. Monkey see, monkey do. His parents didn't seem to think it was funny. :D

Those episodes would be "Bart the Lover" and "Bart's Girlfriend".

Nice theme we have here.

Thank you again! I know you posted it in the other one.

I didn't mean to post this twice. I decided to change the title in the thread and after I hit submit, I stopped it before I thought it posted, but it alas, it was too late.

Since your question was already answered, let me add my 2 cents.

The swear jar idea was a funny concept. "Hell" and "damn" are used frequently on that show, as well as "a**" sometimes. I can only imagine what other words Homer may have used "Off-camera." :D
