This episode, Sonic and Amy are supposed to go on a date, but Bokkun ruins everything. This is one of the rare times Bokkun is annoying.

A boring episode, yet nothing I truly hate. It's not the best Amy Rose episode there is (Epsiode 9 is by far, the best Amy Rose episode I saw thus far). Sonic's "amazing" strength is over exaggerated in this show an he shows it again by bending the metal on Bokkun's tent. I don't like how he possesses the strength of Knuckles. He has speed, at least give Knux his strength. And Bokkun, I love that he's here, but even then, he is grossly underrated. Saddening for this Bokkun fan.
I give it a solid 7/10 in that it didn't keep me that bored and I didn't truly hate it.

I don't think it's possible that Knuckles can get any stronger than he already is. And I am not happy that they renamed Emerl. Sure the saga has abso-bloody-lutely nothing in common with Sonic Battle, but at least acknowledge it enough to get Emerl's name right. I mean, M. L.? Or Emel? That's just lazy. More so than 4Kids usually is.

The name pronouciation of "Emerl" never bothered me, mostly because I have no clue how to pronouce it. I assumed it was just "Em-er-al."

BOKKUN can never be annoying darn it. That is who he is, and he almost scored the victory with the TV exploding in Sonic stupid face, why would ya stand in font of it Sonic after avoiding them early one. They should have let him score the win and not get hit by a lucky throw from Sonic. Bokkun is too underrated, TMS should have used him more.

Sonic is totally rude to Amy, if he was so worried about "being late to Amy", that last scene was just absolutely horrible. I liked it, but the animation was up and down, and next weeks is going to be even worst for the previews."
But this show hasn't gone down in overall quality in my mind.

One thing though, at least this episode [Amy in particular] hammered the poor puns from Sam. This show and Shaman King does a good job of leaving atrocious puns hang to dry.

Bokkun? Annoying? That's not possible. ^_^ That's just who he is.

But really, how is Emerl's name pronounced? I always said it like "ee-merl", pretty much the way it's spelled.
I'm not a big Amy fan, but in this episode even I felt a little bad for her. She just had a tough day. ^ ^ Plus Sonic and Sam being rude to her was just the icing on the cake.

Oh, and Bokkun IS too underrated. =3

- I kinda find it weird that Amy and Sam went on a 'spite' date to express being stood-up by Sonic. Amy stole this episode, definitely... no one ever pays attention to the 'little people.' ;) As for Sam... yeah, definitely too many puns.
- I'll share everyone's sentiments. Bokkun rules! He would make a very capable villain... well, not as great as Eggman, but he'd be fairly decent. Oh, and Bokkun really needs to get more objects to blow up stuff with. :D
- Chris apparently doesn't know how to calm a girl down. I'm surprised Amy didn't give him a face full of mallet in the opening scene!

Surprisingly, a very enjoyable episode compared to most of the series' ones to date. "A Date to Forget" was close to unforgettable... an 8 out of 10!
