Has anyone heard about or seen this movie? I saw it was a new release on Netflix this week. The entire movie looks like a big poke at his has-been reputation, with a lot of big-name cameos. I'm intrigued, and wondering if it's worth my time.

I really thought the guy died from your thread title. :p

Anyway, I haven't seen the movie. But I'm wondering just how he managed to get so many cameos?

Yeah, man, jeezus freakin Christ, that freaked me out! I mean, it's not like I knew the guy or anything but to suddenly see a thread about him being dead is kind of creepy. Good to know it's just a movie and he's not really dead.

I wanted to see it in theaters, but I don't know if it played anywhere outside of NY or LA. Now that it's available for rent I'll check it out the next time I go. It sounds pretty funny. It only got 50% at rottentomatoes, but I figure it should be good for a larf. And that's only after twelve reviews. I'm going under the impression that this isn't a Pauly Shore movie like Bio-Dome was a Pauly Shore movie. THough, he did write and direct it.

EDIT: According to dictionary.com, "larf" isn't a word. What's the deal with that?

Not really...

(This thread should have been done April 1st in full comic effect after seeing...)

Whoa! I thought he was dead. Well, time for Pauly Shore to ruin a death scene, then he might do a bad April Fool's joke.

I weep for Bill Pullman more than Pauly Shore.

I weep for Bill Pullman more than Pauly Shore.
But Bill Pullman isn't dead...

Sorry. What I meant by that was Pauly Shore pulling an Andy Kaufman.

As I've always figured it, the way Pauly ever got big in the first place was his and his mom's connections (mom's a big L.A. comedy club owner). Whether you like him as a performer or not he's always seemed to be a very nice and personable guy who probably makes friends easily.

*-aka imdb. Its a joke that has a stupid little story that you won't get, so just forget about and shut up. =/

Bought the film...it was funny. Pauly Shore has probably gone down as one of the worst actors of recent decades. But only him would have the balls to make fun of that claim he has. This movie is like a parody of all those goofy "E-True Hollywood Story" things, then soon dives into its own story of how Pauly Shore messed up big time. It's funny..better than 'Jury Duty':p

Heck...judging by recently, BEN AFFLECK may be the 'Next Pauly Shore' seeing how things are going for him:shrug:
