I have been keeping up on the Justice League news. And yet, there is still no word yet on Apache Chief or Samarai. Surely, these powerful heroes have earned a place in the new show. A place to showcase their extraordinary abilities.
I wish I had a dollar for every time Superman would remark "This job is just too big for me to handle!" when dealing with the likes of the Legion of Doom or hotrodding teens. Then, Apache Chief would push Superman aside and exclaim, "But, it's not too big for Apache Chief! Enuch Chuck!!"
Hopefully, one of you fine ladies and/or gentlemen can explain when Apache Chief or Samarai will appear in future episodes.
"Where have you gone, El Dorado? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

Hmmm... You seem to have an acute case of "Wondertwinitis". I recommend removing yourself from all contact with the Superfriends. ;)

If they ever--ever--show up on Justice League it had better be a joke.

Just to be the serious guy here (for once), the creators hate Superfriends with a passion, so I'd say the chances of them showing up are pretty much nil.
Though, did you see Apache Chief show up on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law? Hilarious!

"Superfriends" is so pathetic I can't even bring myself to hate it. Mostly I just giggle when I see it.

That sums up the show perfectly.

Yes, I have read many times that Paul Dini and Bruce Timm HATE the Superfriends with a passion.
And thank goodness they do! That's why Justice League will be such a high quality show.
They hate Superfriends? GOOD. So do I.
NO Apache Chief, NO Samauri, NO Black Vulcan, NO Cyborg, and NONONO Wonder Twins and/or Marvin & Wendy, under ANY circumstances. Not even as a joke!
And NO Plastic Man either. (Though not everyone will agree with me on this last one.)

They might have to bring Cyborg in, if they do a Titans episode.

I'd like to get a Superfriends DVD for the same reason I'd like to get the old Space Ghost episodes on DVD--they are so unintentionally funny that they actually work on a level the creators of the shows did not intend.

Cyborg would be ok as long as he was strictly a Titan, and nothing more.

I'm proud to say it, I still love the SuperFriends. You know why? Because they are what introduced so many of us to the world of Super Heroes. Showing my age? Maybe, but I also have the 16 episodes of Challenge on tape made from a friend's original copies made on Betamax when the stories first aired.
Are some episodes goofy? Yes. King Plasto and such villains are laughable. So is Marvin and the Wonder Twins. But I love the Challenge and wish I had the later shows with Firestrom and Cyborg on tape.
I think its too bad that so many people dislike the series. :(
I also love the new JL series. It looks like it may really be the DCUniverse Animated series from what we know is coming. :)

Please tell me you're just kidding about wanting Apache Chief and Samurai. :)
My guess is that you are, but I just want to make sure.

Actually, if they did a lot of tweaking, Samuri could be a cool character. I'd go for a darker look, sword, mask, not quite B:TAS Ninja look, but close to it. Apache Chief, tho, well....
