What we know so far:
Secret origins - 3 parts
In Blackest Night - 2 parts
Enemy Below - 2 parts
Brave and Bold - 2 parts
Metamorpho story - 2 parts
Vandal/Time story - 2 or 3 parts
That's 13 or 14 episodes - was the total 17? I can't remember.
I've enjoyed the 5 we've seen so far. :D
I can't believe after 7 episodes CN is going to run repeats for 7 weeks. WB did that with the SupermanTAS, where we saw the 3 part opening, 3 episodes and then they repeated those 6 before showing anything new. really turned me off. :mad:
Back to the episode list. Anyone know the two stories I seem to be missing?

Welcome to Television 101...
Sweeps are in November, and February. (for sake of this argument, there are also other ratings periods...)
Since CN was obviously unwilling to have too many eps. made, they had two choices, either air all the eps...then have repeats durring sweeps..
Or what they are doing. I don't much like it either, but there it is.
On a side note, I've been shocked that Kids WB has been airing repeats this month...in the heart of sweeps. They're getting cocky...which means they might be in for a fall...

If every ep is going to be a two parter...make the show an hour long!!!!

Add the Flash/GL episode "The Brave & The Bold". That's two more to add to the 26 episode first season.

There are definitely 26 total episodes. From what I have gathered, there will be 10 two-parters and 2 three-parters.
So far we have seen:
"Secret Origins" pt 1-pt 3
"In Blackest Night" pt 1-pt 2
That's five episodes.
Next up is:
"The Enemy Below" pt 1-pt 2
That's seven.
Episodes that we know the name of:
"Legends," the pseudo-JSA time travel story.
"Brave & the Bold," Flash and GL vs. Gorilla Grodd
"The Savage Time," season finale guest starring Blackhawk & Sgt. Rock vs. Vandal Savage
Assuming that the first two are two-parters and the season finale is a three-parter, that's 14.
Episodes that we know the basic premise of but not the official title:
The one w/Superman fighting on Warworld vs. Mongul
The one focusing on Wonder Woman and Paradise Island vs. Felix Faust
The one w/Lex Luthor and his gang of fellow bad guys
The one guest starring Metamorpho
Those 8 two-parters give us 22 episodes.
That leaves four episodes to go, meaning two more two-parters. I have no idea what those will be about. (Plus I'm not sure if I should be excited or just kinda sad that we know so much about what's going to be in the first season.)

I knew you guys collectively knew way more than I did. I had confused the psuedoJSA tale with the Vandal Savage one. I can't believe I forgot there was a story focused on Lex and the Injustice Gang. I also had no idea about the Warworld or Paradise Island stories.
PS, I know all about ratings months and sweeps weeks. We waited for ages for the last two episodes of STAS so they could run them during sweeps.

No problem, Superfriend, and welcome to the boards. And you're right, the people here are the most informed and insightful fans of the various Animated Series that you will find on the net.
By the way, I should point out that some have speculated that the stories "Legends" and "The Savage Time" might end up being one in the same. In that case, there would be one more two-parter left.

Isn't there going to be episodes featuring Solomon Grundy as the villain? I thought he would have his own episodes before they show him in the Injustice Gang episode. Also, will Despero and Amazo be shown this season?

According to imdb.com there will an episode called "The Demon Story" which will apparently feature a character named Mordrid. Anyone know Mordrid is?

I suspect that the four missing episodes will be a two-parter focusing on Batman and a two-parter focusing on Hawkgirl. Since we know Timm (or was it one of the other producers) said that in season 1 there each member would get an spotlight episode focused on them.

"The Demon Story" might be the episode w/Felix Faust. In one of his first appearances in the JLA comics, he conjured up the Demons Three (Abnegazar, Rath & Ghast).
I don't trust imdb.com, though. For a while, they had a character called 'Trina Wayne, Batman's daughter' listed in the JL credits. I read a theory here that she might be a character from some kind of dream sequence (and with Dr. Destiny scheduled to appear, I guess that's possible), however the name has since been removed. However, "The Demon Story" is kind of a lack-luster title.

So we got how many episodes covered now? We almost have the entire season roughly mappe dout. Creators on the show are trying to keep as tight lipped as possible on the show to avoid spoilers and revealing plot twists, so it may be harder to get more episode information.

Well, if nothing's inside info is correct, we have all but two episode's covered.
The episodes in no particular order are:
Secret Origins.... 3 parts

What I'd really like to know is how you are you getting this information on the upcoming JL episodes? Like DG said the production team is being tight lipped on plot details and episodes in general, to keep up suspense and keep us from seeing spoilers.
So do you have an inside source, or are you the inside source?

Actually, I was just wondering that too. For someone who calls himself/herself "Nothing", you sure seem to know a lot...hmmm...
As for Mordred and Morga Le Fay, they are two characters from Authrurian legend (as in King A. and the Knights of the Round Table) with close ties to King Arthur, and consequently, The Demon, or, as he is called, Etrigan, who I believe was brought into existance by Merlin to protect the King (according to comics history). Legend says, Morgan and Arthur were born from the same mother, but since Arthur was totally unaware of his royal heritage growing up, he had no knowledge of his half-sister when he became King. Morgan saught the throne of England in any way possible, so she seduced the clueless Arthur into empregnating her (catch my drift!). By the time Arthur realized his one-night "fling" with a woman he'd never met was actually an act of incest, Morgan was pregnant, and using her connection of the powers of evil, gave birth to Mordred. He grew faster than a normal child, possessed powers beyond those of a normal teen and became a dangerous, power-hungry man, all during the time of Arthur's rule. Once he was strong enough, he confronted his father, tried to turn his men against him, and ultimately destroyed him. Arthur died after killing Mordred in battle, and so ends my tale..... :rolleyes:

Considering what Nothing knows, perhaps he will confirm the fact that the press release information about Amazo, Brainiac, Despero, Dr. Destiny, the Key, Poison Ivy, Sinestro, and Chronos appearing on JL are FALSE -- as well as the fact that there is no "Secret Society of Supervillains" and that Darkseid is not behind the formation of the Injustice Gang.
CN's official word is that these are "potential villains" which "could be used" depending on how many seasons the show will run.
What say you, Mr./Ms. Nothing?

It seems as though the first few episodes that we were given info on, mostly from Bruce Timm's remarks made at the San Diego comic-con, were "Secret Origins", "In Blackest Night", "Enemy Below", "Warworld", "Paradise Lost", and "Injustice Gang". That's half of the production schedule. They were probably the first episodes written, boarded, recorded and animated. So far they have aired (or will be airing) the first three of those.
Since then we have slowly heard about the rest of the episodes and where they are in their various stages of production. They may end up airing them all in production order, but as previous animated series have shown us, sometimes that's not the case.
You never know, during the seven weeks of reruns they will be airing through February, some of the later episodes may come back from the studios overseas and be ready for broadcast. The producers themselves may not know the episode order, yet.
