Does anyone know the original ending? I hate it when cartoons end like that. Wasn't there a very small part CN cut from that one as well? I remember the dog being the last one to say something in this cartoon. How can tell something else was cut because as it fades out Bugs and the dog are still moving around. I think the last thing the dog said was "Yeah".

Bugs and the dog fall through another hole and the cartoon closes on Bugs saying "Here we go again!"
CN's dubbed version makes the sudden ending a little smoother...since the cartoon would suddenly cut to the end card after the dog says "Yeah, yeah"
Don't worry, CN isn't censoring anything. Perhaps when Heckling Hare is restored, the ending will be found.

I didn't really think they censored anything. I just thought there was an extra few seconds of film left. I read the story on this cartoon a few minutes ago. You gotta hand it to Mr. Avery. He never let go of his beliefs. One can only aspire to live up to his level of greatness. One of these days, I'm gonna be the next Tex Avery. I just have to think of a catchy name for myself. He was Tex because he was from Texas. My last name is Green and I'm from Illinois. Would my name be Ill Green? It sounds like a contagious disease! Well, lemme get back to June Bugs. I hate that they aren't showing those 11 toons. Those toons have become very famous over the past month.

Ill Green? I like that name!
They're showing WHAT'S COOKIN', DOC (1943) right now on June Bugs, which was one of the 12 cartoons that was going to be banned. Nice to know they didn't cop out on this one. Not if only they'd show FRIGID HARE, BUSHY HARE, and those other innocent cartoons.

I'm hoping that they'll be able to show some of those on CN after June Bugs, once WB isn't watching. They are able to sneak in other cartoons every now and then that are less PC than most of the 11, if they can show Johnny Smith and Poker-Huntas and other Indian cartoons, than they should be able to show Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt and other less offensive ones. I'm not holding my breath for All This and Rabbit Stew or Nips The Nips, though.
