Batman Beyond good, sad, and very Dark.

I Just wanna know, if any of you guys ever felt sad when you watched Batman Beyond? Because, some episodes like "out of the Past" really got to me. Seeing old Bruce click through pictures of Lois, Barbara, and all his old Loves. But the show can also be fun, and intense like some of the fight scenes in "mind Games". They even made Superman, look Darker and more edgy in "The Call". I just wanna know, if anyone has simliar feeling towards this show?

Yeah, some episodes are sad(as in character tormoil) but unfortunately some are also sad(as in bad writing) but most of the time I enjoyed it. In a lot of early episodes the bad guys are stopped, but they aren't captured.
