These are two of the best fast-to-cook and good to eat brands anywhere. I love the cheesy and tomato flavor in the O's, and their better when they're hotter. i'd suggest going for the plus calcium brands, they don't taste too different and are better for you. As for Ramen noodles, they also take little time to cook and taste great. I don't know where I would be without these.
Also great is putting Old Bay on them. Sick at first, but it really spices up the noodles giving the noodles more flavor, and the O's taste WAY better with Old Bay on 'em.
Who else thinks these foods are great lunches, or dinners, or even for a snack?

Ramen Noodles are awsome, but don't even get me started about how great speghetti O's are.
Now I'm hungry. :crying:
Old bay?? I gotta try that.
Hehe... this is very true. If I'm hungry and I want to make something fast, it's usually either O's or Ramen. O's do have a great taste, but I'm not so fond of their meatballs.
My favorite Ramen flavors are Beef and Roast Chicken... though all the chicken flavors are good (and similar). I haven't been daring enough to try some of the other flavors, like Mushroom and Shrimp. I might one day though. I don't know about that Old Bay... but I might try that one day too.:p
BTW, does anyone know the correct way to pronounce Ramen? I've heard two different ways.

Ramen's in my top three. I'm not in that place where you have to manage money wisely while trying to study for tests....but Ramen will be with me still when I get there.
Ah, good. I was saying it the right way...or close enough. (Rah-Men)

Nothings better than chicken flavored Ramen when you're feeling lazy.
Thanks to this thread, I just tried Shrimp flavor. It was good, but they do all sort of taste similar.

Shrimp ramen has always tasted a little....funny to me. I'm not saying it's bad, though.

I haven't had Spaghetti O's in forever. I remember eating them all the time because I didn't really know how to make anything else.

If you ever visited the place Ramen noodles (and the seasoning) are created, you'd never, ever eat Ramen noodles again. The smell is just horrific, and if you watch and learn about the process by which they're made, it's even more horrifying. I used to live off of Ramen noodles in college, but I will never eat them again now.

It's hard to describe - you have to experience it for yourself. I don't remember if it was the noodles themselves, or the "flavoring" that was the problem. But the smell is so repulsive - you have to wear a mask going into the factory, and that doesn't even do it. And they use these really nasty chemicals - acids that would be fatal in even small amounts - to treat the "food". These chemicals are washed off/removed before packaging, but still, just knowing that kind of thing is used on something I'm going to be eating makes me nervous. The stuff, as it's being processed, is the most disgusting color, smell, and consistency. When you leave, the smell clings to your clothes, and you have to wash your clothes multiple times to get rid of it. Blah. The whole thing makes my stomach turn just thinking about it again. Ramen noodles are ruined forever for me.

I hate Ramen myself... except for an Asian brand called "Dorisac." My girlfriend can buy them from her campus convenience store at school, thanks in large part to the huge Asian population in the area. It's less "cardboard in a bowl" and more like real, actual food. To put it simply, it's the "Kraft Pasta to Go" of ramen. Here's the package, completely with a totally out of place Japanese nurse:

Spaghetti-Os are awesome. Ramen noodles not so much.
I personally love the spaghetti-Os with meatballs or franks.
