Well, get one! A good, inexpensive one (I hate saying the word "cheap" because it makes me think poorly-made, inferior merchandise)
will only set you back about $99. And a DVD-ROM drive for your computer will only set you back $49
if the device is $79 before manufacturer's rebate
(by the time you get the rebate, the SJ DVD will be out).

If CN thinks I will spend twenty bucks on three episodes on DVD they have just slipped another notch on the insanity meter (they were pretty low to begin with). They have shown the movie over two seperate weekands as well as airing each ep seperatly, I want the whole season for $20.

You're dreaming if you think you will get a whole season for $20.00. And that much for the premier movie isn't much, considering most of their two episode VHS tapes (agh, I hate swearing!) are $15.00. I am sure the DVD will have more bonus features on top of the three episodes.

You could find it on sale for about $25.00-$30.00 at times, but that bad boy is marked at a suggested retail price of $39.99.

I looked at it in Target and it was $30. Since I work there I can get it for $27. Too bad I don't have a DVD player!

wow, this is the first time I heard this.

Man I must be behind the times.

I was just thinking that a Jack DVD would be great.

...you are VERY behind the times, because this thread is from 2001.

What we need now are all the other episodes in the same format.

Well, not EXACTLY the same format. A keeper case would be nice. But other than that, yeah, I'm very pleased with this DVD and I'd love to see more-- a LOT more.

In fact, when I saw this thread up here again, I thought, "Whoa, another SJ DVD?! Sweet!!!" Then I read it and it was just the old Premiere Movie thread. )-:

Didn't this come out like A year ago? I'm still waiting for Warners to put out A second disc.

If more DVDs do come out, it had better be in episodic order like a Volume containing episodes IV-VII, and the next one containing eps VIII-XI and so on.

There won't be more Jack on DVD excepting the possible movie, knowing Warner. Come on, do you think they're THAT smart?

I now see why old posts shouldn't be resurrected, I have been enlightened. :)
