I don't usually buy JLU but I might pick up #8 just because The Question rocks. And the cover is actually really awesome.

The JLU cover is actually good this time! With the Question as the main character, theres no way it can be bad.

Thank goodness they've changed Justice League Unlimited's cover artist. April's cover actually looks very neat indeed. I might pick up the issue... I like the JLU setup enough to where I'd be interested in a comic utilizing it, and the reviews on the series seem to be improving lately. Might be worth a shot.

Y'know, what's odd is that you guys are finally wanting to buy JLU because the cover is "finally" good. You see the cover artist's name? Carlo Barberi? That is the guy that's been drawing the beautiful interiors of the JLU comics that you've been refusing to purchase--all because of ugly covers. check out the latest issue (5), in which Carlo pencils a beautiful story.

So good job, DC, for putting the better artist on the cover--because, unfortunately, the fans are passing up these books w/o opening them--they just look at the cover and say, "eh," and walk on.

I had exactly the opposite reaction when I saw that Ben wasn't doing the covers anymore, which is the only reason I picked up any of the previous issues. This cover is just more of the old dull "Adventures in the DC Universe" stuff again. Too bad.

On the other hand, Sean's cool Teen Titan covers may get me to pick some of those issues up.

Actually, I haven't been picking them up because I've heard the writing has been mediocre and riddled with continuity problems. I'm aware of Barberi's art, and you're right, it's very good.

Yep. I purchased the first two and was severely disappointed.

Because of the writing mostly? I had worried that would be the problem

Spoke too soon -- Ben posted a peek at what he's doing for the cover of JLU #9, so maybe he is still doing the covers...

I guess they are a little more for kids then grown ups.

On the other hand, Sean's cool Teen Titan covers may get me to pick some of those issues up.I don't usually buy comics just for the cover, which I can easily admire online... but I agree that Caldwell's covers looked so much better than this dull Question drawing that shows very little creativity. Love Cheeks' covers too... this one looks particularly great.

That too bad, I was kind of hoping they would lean a little more in the other direction
