I like how they started doing these things, it has clips from "Hare Way To The Stars", "What's Opera Doc?", and "The Dot and The Line", as well as some excerpts from a Maurice Noble interview.

Just saw it for the second time tonight. I had occasion to meet Maurice Noble a couple of times, once in Philadelphia for a "Bambi"-related event (yes, Maurice worked on "Bambi"!), and again in New York City. Both times Noble was nothing less than a gracious gentleman always eager to discuss his cartoons and show his artwork.

It's amazing how design always figured in the Chuck Jones cartoons, but when you consider Noble didn't even work for Jones until 1952, you wonder how he got along without Noble's fascinating color studies and inspirational drawings. Maurice, you will be missed.

I found the tribute somehow lacking. Kinda makes me wonder what they'll do when Chuck Jones passes on. I'm hoping they have either Roadrunner or Wile E. Coyote hold up a "Good-bye Chuck" sign.

I liked it better than some of the other tributes they've done, it at least gave a better hint to non animation buffs as to what he did.

He'll be missed, but the other 10 or so people Jones had before Noble also were able to do some amazing and beautiful things with backgrounds too...

Much too much death as of late.
