EEAAAAGHHHH!!!! White on Red Color Scheme??!!?!

Howdy all,

Colors...ugly....can't.....read....posts!

Does anybody else think red toned backgrounds with white text is a really bad idea? I'd love to jump in here, but these colors are doing a major Ugly Dance on my eyes. Is there a way to change the background colors in our profiles? If not, can we PLEASE have then changed to something a little less harsh on us old folks out here?

I discovered something today...this color scheme looks worse on a computer I use at work that has 16 colors and 600x840 resolution (ACK!). My computer at home makes this site look way better. Perhaps it's the resolution some computers are set at that make this site look bad? I think it looks just fine at home, though.

Tell me about it, Ace. I get a headache if I stay here too long. And it's not about resolution, because the color scheme shows up just fine on my computer, it's just that trying to read white on red is painful to the eyes. >_<

Howdy all,

It's better, but half the posts are still white text on a red background.

Would a 2-tone blue color scheme be too much to ask for? I understand the need to be separate from the other Toon Zone forums, but not at the expense of legibility.

i really think that the read is too loud... maybe like a lighter red... but its really hard to read the msgs in the red.....

I guess this is a love it or hate it thing, because the people who don't like this color scheme REALLY don't like this color scheme! I personally think it's just fine!
