I didn't care for this show much on UPN and was less than thrilled when it came to AS. So I didn't really sit down and give it a fair shake. But in the past few weeks, I've actually been paying more attention to the show and I think it's a very funny show. It's an aquired taste for sure, much like British comedy, but I am finding the humor to be very well timed and I laugh quite a bit at the jokes.

When I heard Adult Swim was coming to CN, I was interested of course -- but only in Space Ghost and Cowboy Bebop. The other shows I've never heard before, so I never gave them much thought.
But soon as I caught sight of HM.. I really enjoyed it. I think it's the best show on AS.

same hear cal, I at first was taping every show on Adult Swim except Home Movies and Cowboy Beebop, but recently I have also paid more attention to the show I mean the humor is in the conversations they have which is sort of unique and its very well timed, the point that made me decide to start recording it was that epsiode "law and Borders" I was rolling on the floor laughing at that one part where they mocked the legal system and they were like "wow its a beautiful day! lets go run down some children honey" LOL its a good show but I still dont think it deserves a whole hour

Well, Baby Blues will soon help fill that hour block. But now that Home Movies has started to grow on me, I am sorry I didn't watch more of those hour blocks when I had a chance!

I have loved HM ever since it premiered. My favorite episode is the one where Brenden gets hit by the car.
And when Erik tries to help Coach McGuirk find a house.
And Erik says "It's a fixer-upper"
and McGuirk says "No, it's a piece of crapper!" That was funy

This is slightly OT, but I'd like to see Dr Katz in the same hour as Home Movies.

The secret to Home Movies and Dr. Katz has always been to stop watching and start listening. The animation visually leaves you feeling like "WTF". Its the audio track that contains all the humor.
