Well, I asked for your favorite now I wanna know which Titan you can do with out.

I do like them all but if I had to choose a least favorite it would have to be BeastBoy. Sorry BeastBoy fans but the constant comic relief thing bugs me esp. in episode like “Haunted”.

How bout everybody else?

They can all be pretty annoying, but most of them have had their good moments, except Robin who is absurdly cranky and so far up his own <beeeeep> that he is almost impossible to like.

Worst... Robin... Ever!

I give it to Beast Boy. It's between him and Cyborg. But Beast Boy basically ruined Haunted, so he gets my vote.

I think Robin only seems cranky 24/7 if you use "exception thinking"; That is, someone asks, "is Robin cranky?" and because you can think of several good examples of him being cranky, it's easy to say, "yeah! all the time!"

Ofcourse, if you use "rule thinking," and consider all the times Robin ISN'T cranky, a different picture comes into focus.

In "Sisters" he enjoys a ferris wheel ride Starfire, gets whoops at fireworks and enjoys dancing, despite what he later says in "Date with Destiny."

In Final Exam, he's about the only one who DOESN'T get PO'd at some point in the episode. The most he ever tries to do is break up an argument.

In "Forces of Nature," he's never unduly cranky. He's the level-headed leader.

In "Sum of his parts," he organizes a Bar-b-Que outing and enjoys a game of football.

In "Nevermore" Beastboy gets seriously PO'd at Raven for her less-than-social behavior, and ROBIN of all people is the one who urges understanding and patience!

In "Switched" he idly goofs around with his puppet along with Cyborg and Beast boy.

In "Deep Six" he leads the Titans with no undue attitude.

In "Mad Mod", whiles he's as annoyed as the rest of the Titans at his captivity, he doesn't act particularly grumpy, and takes several opportunities to get some jokes at Mod's expense.

In "How Long is forever?" Even though Robin was as guilty of arguing in the opening scene as the others, it should be noted that Nightwing was the only one willing to get past the falling out and years of crankiness that had occurred within the team, and pull them together again to help Starfire.

In "Every Dog has his day," while all the other Titans openly expressed frustration and annoyance at Beast boy, Robin was the only one who was at least polite to him.

In "Terra," Robin was never anything but supporting and encouraging to Terra, even if, like Raven, he had some suspicions.

In "Only Human," while it looks to be example of Robin being cranky to Cyborg, those who have competed in organized sports know that sometimes coaches say tough things to their athletes to get them to push themselves beyond their perceived limits. But, when Cyborg explained to Robin that he had actual limits, not percieved limits, Robin did apologize to him.

"Fear itself" is a good example of why the oft-made comparison of TT Robin to DCAU Batman doesn't hold up. After defeating control freak, The Titans had some free time that evening. Instead barking orders and making them do physical training, like Batman might have done, Robin sits down to watch a horror movie with them and enjoys it.

In "Date with Destiny," Robin shows extreme annoyance in being in a rediculous situation, but I don't think his reactions were inappropriate.

In "Transformation," we see a new side of Robin: he enjoys gardening! And he wears a flower apron no less! He can also be seen enjoying video games with Cyborg. True, the two of them had a touchy moment when Robin ordered Cyborg to turn the Submarine into a spaceshipe(!) but considering that a close friend was revealed to be physically deformed and flew into space before providing any answers, well, it's understandable that Robin would be eager to find her and get to the bottom of it.

In Titan Rising, Robin enjoys a game of volleyball with the other Titans. And when Terra shows up, even though he doesn't entirely trust her, he's still nothing but gracious in giving her a second chance to make a first impression. Compare to Raven's open hostility to Terra.

Robin's frustration with Cyborg in "Deception" is actually understandable. Robin was afraid that Cyborg was losing sight of his objectives and allegiences. That often happens with people going undercover, and Robin was trying to shake him out of it.

I think "X" actually shows Robin in a good light: One of his mistakes came back to haunt him, And when the other Titans repeatedly remind him of how terrible it was of him to have made the suit and become Red X in the first place, Robin doesn't defend himself. He acknowledges his mistake shows frustration only at himself and at the one who stole the suit.

Yes, Robin takes the news of Starfire's engagement in Betrothed hard, but considering the circumstances, how else would you have expected him to react? Anything else and people would have been complaining about "Sloppy writing" and how he didn't show the right emotions to Starfire leaving.

In "Crash," Robin shoots Beast boy a dirty look for infecting Cyborg with a dangerous virus. But then, so did Starfire and Beast boy. When beastboy did end up in Cyborg, Robin supported it. Even when he said "Don't touch anything," there was no longer any meanspiritedness to the comment, he was just worried about cyborg and didn't want Robin to make the matter worse.

In "Haunted," Robin was litterally delusional, so I don't hold the things he did in that episode against him.

In "Spellbound," Robin was genuinly concerned about Raven and asked if she wanted to talk about anything. That's a true friend.

In Waveleangth, Robin does keep Cyborg from getting revenge on Blood, but he wasn't mean about it. Besides, Robin's reason were valid: The cannon was Cyborg's tech, so he'd have the best chance of disabling it. Speaking of which: How come when Robin gets "Crazy Obsessive," people hold it against him, but when Cyborg does everyone lets it slide?

I know there was some controversy over how Robin handled Beastboy in "Beast within," but you gotta admit there was a lot of evidence stacked against beastboy. The way I saw it, Robin was practically begging Beastboy to remember something that would clear him.

Robin may have seemed heartless in "Can I keep him?" to make Starfire get rid of Silkie, but Silkie ate Cyborg's leg and was destroying the tower. But I admit, this was the hardest thing I had to justify...

----------

You see? As many examples of Robin being a jerk as you can pull, I can pull way more of him being a nice guy and a good friend. In fact, I found several examples of him acting more mature, friendly, and gracious than any of the other Titans. And when he does act Cranky, it's usually either justified, or in the case of Masks, Apprentice, or Winner takes all, it's him making a mistake, which does acknowledge, apologize for, and try to correct.

Robin's a great guy! :)

I dunno. I kinda dislike Robin. 16 (or so) is bit too young of an age to be acting that obsessive and driven, even if you're a crime-fighter in an anime-esque universe, and you're not sure whether your ultimate nemesis is dead! He should go outside and play with his friends more often. :p

compared to 25 times (at least) when he wasn't cranky or was a nice guy? If a computer with a difference engine logic were trying to figure this out, it would say that mostly Robin is a good guy with occasional and usually justified episodes of grumpiness.

Well... I voted for Beast Boy. Now don't get me wrong I love him, when he's serious. I really loved him in "The Beast Within". If he acts like that, then Raven's my new least favorite.

Quick little opinion on all the Robin hate: For one thing look at Style92's list, it's all true. Secondly, if you were raised by Batman, and then had to live with a bad joke spouting green kid, a depressed, bitter goth girl, an always kind, overly powerful alien chick you had a thing for, and a pretty normal cyborg wouldn't you be cranky? Or at the very least rightfully frustrated at living with your almost girlfriend, I mean imagine the angsty teen emotions we'd see if this was on the WB during prime time.

I don't hate any of the Titans but Beastboy annoys me from time to time so he gets my vote.

As for Robin I don't really find him cranky but I find him just a bit (Ok really) over powered in Teen Titans, he is suppose to he the only normal human (Ok as normal as someone trained by Batman can be) on the team yet time and time again he fights better then the others put together. Yet Robin himself does not really annoy me.

As impressive as your list is, it still doesn't prove anything other than that you have too much spare time on your hands. You can list as many instances of Robin being jolly as you like. If I could be bothered to trawl through the episodes, I could find twice as many to support my view. We could go through every episode frame by frame and count smiles and frowns, and I would still win, but that would be a waste of time.

Robin has always worked as the good cop to Batman's bad cop, so previous incarnations have been much more light-hearted, even playful at times, compared to Cranky McCrankypants. Everything about McCrankypants' character, from his obsession with Slade down to the almost slightly aggressive voice performance, is far too serious to be a likeable Robin. I am not saying he should necessarily be any different, just that he is excessively moody and boring, and as a result he is my least favorite Titan, and he is definitely the worst... Robin... ever!

I voted for Robin. Why? Well, I just like the other Titans more.

Starfire is funny, lovable, and always peppy and sometimes a team needs somebody like that. And those starbolts are awesome.

BB is funny, even though most of the time he acts corny. But its usually so corny, that it's funny. And then he's cool n stuff. Who can turn into a pterodactyl here, raise your hand (if you're sure!!!! lol :p).

Cyborg is cool! He's HALF ROBOT! That automatically makes him at least like, a quarter cool. And he can kick peoples butts while simultaneously hacking into an advanced computer system. with his FINGER, if he wanted to.

Raven=awesomelyawesomeawesomeness. She is basically the most powerful of them all. She may not express her emotions that often but she does go through real problems besides "hmm, which bad guy should we beat up first?" And that cloak is blue. Which is my favorite color. :D

Terra... would be cool if she wasn't a rock. She was awesome before the stupid writers just HAD to make her be Slade's apprentice. :crying:

Robin.. sure, he can kick butt, he's probably one of my favorite characters, and he's cool and all (and he's romantically involved with someone on the team which instantly means that they can't get rid of him unless he dies in some tragic accident with Starfire right at his side) but he's so.. boring. . I don't care WHAT you say, he;s always Mr. Serious. Yeah, he's the leader and he has to be serious.. but jeeze! Lighten up a little once in a while! Teen Titans is a cool show because it goes off in its own direction.

However, I don't like what they did with Starfire.

The Starfire of the comics is tough and belligerant. On the show she's, well, not (except in "Date With Destiny"). She's just a little too different for me, but that doesn't mean I don't like her, just less in comparison to the others.

Also I don't like Starfire episodes ("Transformation", "Can I Keep Him?") as much.

"Kid. You are taking life WAY to seriously.

I would say that some people are mistaking being serious for being cranky. If you say (as above) that Robin is serious, I'll agree no problem. He is. And if you have been trained by Batman from you're early years, you would be too. That he can lighten up at all (and there's no denying that he can and does) is somewhat amazing.

My pick... Mad Mod. No, wait, from the list? OK, Beast Boy. He’s quirky and fills a necessary position on the team, but of the five listed, I like him the least. He can be funny at times, but I think he tries too hard. So like I said, got no hate for the green fuzzy dude (loved him as a Brit), but he’s just my least favorite.

Also I don't like Starfire episodes ("Transformation", "Can I Keep Him?") as much.
I always liked Transformation

Dude, that's hilarious.

He doesn't!? Well, then it can't be true! GL isn't a stereotype to me. But Cyborg. . . And I'm sorry you can't see it, but that doesn't mean he's not. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Also, I'm surprised he doesn't have foshizzle as one of his dumb slang words.Fone Bone bursts into tears because the wonderful KurtWagner used a sarcasm smiley on him.:crying: :(

My least favorite Teen Titan is Robin. Now don't get me wrong, I actually like Robin, but sometimes he acts cranky, and he's sometimes annoying. The only time I like Robin is when he acts serious.
