Was TREE FOR TWO and DR. JERKYL'S HIDE the only two cartoons these characters were used in? Also, did one of their names change in DR. JERKYL'S HIDE?
They seemed like a good pair, and I love them in TREE FOR TWO, but their cockney accents in JERKYL'S seemed forced. They worked better without it.

Well, they both appeared in Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island, with scenes of Tree For Two used. The bulldog was named Spike in Tree for Two but later Alfie in Dr. Jerkyl's Hide. The little dog was Chester in both cartoons. I really did like Spike and Chester, especially in Tree for Two. Freleng should of made more cartoons with them. I also wasn't very fond of Freberg and Blanc trying to do Cockney accents.
BTW, it would of been cool if McKimson or Jones used Spike and Chester as well.
