Is Terra going to be on this Postopia lost episode maybe as the Punk rock person? Maybe they will bring her back and let her join to titans east. Maybe this short will show us something.

Maybe they will bring her back and let her join to titans east.I think that's probably what's going to happen, just my opinion. I personally, think they should just leave her "dead", that's just me.

It's so annoying when they bring back dead characters. It completely takes away from the significance of the death in the first place. Of course, despite the mock-funeral, Terra was never actually declared dead in the first place (cop-out), so that very much left the door open for her return.
I'm torn between wanting her to stay dead, and wanting her to be resurrected to become a bit of a character hybrid: A little bit of Terra II's personality, mixed in with a little bit of Rose Wilson's.
But so...ah...what about that Postopia short everyone?

It's a no-fluff, full-length episode given the same production handling as any other ep. And Punk Rocket looks awesome.

I'll copy what I thought on AI here:
Well, I just watched it! Pretty good for 12 minutes. Punk Rocket reminded me of Mad Mod and Johnny Rancid. I wonder if he will appear in a full length episode.
Of course, they had BB acting like an idiot in the begining, but he did save the day in the end. Anyone who has seen "How Long is Forever" probably recognizes the music BB was listening to. I guess Robin and Beast Boy have the same preferences in music! The fight scenes looked... interesting. Anyway, I like the quote:
Starfire: "Music is supposed to make glorious sounds, that make people happy." (Not exact quote)
Raven: "You obviously haven't heard any of my music."
I give this a 5/5. It was a nice little clip.

It was fun and action packed with a bit of humor. Wasn't much of an episode though.
As my girlfriend pointed out, the animation was better too. So that was neat. I guess because it wasn't a full episode, they had a bit more time to make the animation even better.

This is sort of the perfect re-introduction to what Teen Titans is for people who don't watch it much. It isn't serious or develops anything new about the characters, but it showcases the fantastic fight choreography, the great animation, the hilarious expressions, and just the general unique atmosphere of the show. It was directed by Matt Youngberg who you may recall boarded a little episode called "Haunted". I think it's great that WBA is promoting these boarders to directorial positions. It's like even the executives seem to care about the art for once!

Somebody share a code, please.
I thought it was great, considering what it was. It had good direction and great animation.
Best cereal prize ever.

You just have to type in "punk25" (I got that from TVtome & tested it).

Even that was better than most kids cartoons these days. But sadly it was a sub par episode for Teen Titans. Beast Boy's little rant at the end was too forced IMO and quite frankly I wouldn't expect him to do something like that. But maybe that's just me.
Anyway, interesting little episode and the ear wax bits got a chuckle out of me.
The best line by far was Raven's "You don't know the kind of music I listen to" after Starfire went on about music being something to bring happiness and what not.

Beast Boy's little rant at the end was too forced IMO and quite frankly I wouldn't expect him to do something like that. But maybe that's just me. Seemed in character; he was getting ragged on so much, I expected him to say something about how cool he was in the fight and how he saved the day. Plus, he was acting with his usually "hero in his own mind" persona and just complete dorkiness; while you enjoyed the ear wax bit, the index finger point and his mouth click got a good chuckle out of me, along with the reaction from the other Titans.
This is sort of the perfect re-introduction to what Teen Titans is for people who don't watch it much. It isn't serious or develops anything new about the characters, but it showcases the fantastic fight choreography, the great animation, the hilarious expressions, and just the general unique atmosphere of the show. That, and they also force the characters to speak to each other by name just so that the new viewer can recognize each one (Paraphrasing: "I'm gonna beat you, Robin!" "Bring it on, Cyborg!" "Would you like to taste my strange Tamarian food, Raven?" "Not now, Starfire." "BEAST BOY!"). That, and Silkie and the zorka berries are referenced again.
Boy...The expressions were stranger than usual.... Cyborg looked like a wrecked action figure during the sound explosions.
...
Greg Ellis did alright as Punk Rocket; he had previously voiced Malchior in "Spellbound," and it looks like Raven gets some pseudo-revenge on at least the voice actor. :D
Oh, and I think the orchestra at the beginning has a lot of references. The conductor looks like Mumbo's human from "Sum of His Parts," and I think I spotted Glen Murakami in the orchestra.
TitansGo.net (http://forums.titansgo.net/viewtopic.php?t=1344) also lists Mad Mod, Wintergreen, the HIVE representative, and the British old ladies from "Revolution" as sitting in the audience. Perhaps there are some voice actors animated in one of the crowd scenes, but I can't yet tell.

A little too much Beast Boy oriented, other then that it was okay.

I don't have that good of an internet connection to check it out. Anyone think it might pop up on a DVD as a bonus feature? Given that there isn't a lick of a cereal reference (not even in Star's cooking) and acts as a story that can fit anywhere in the continuity, I bet it will be released on a DVD, kind of like the "Daffy For President" short added to the latest Looney Tune DVD collection.
I wasn't expecting much, so this utterly blew me away! I hope it shows up on DVD soon, as a special extra of some sort.

I don't have that good of an internet connection to check it out. Anyone think it might pop up on a DVD as a bonus feature? It seems tailor-made for DVD. Like people have said, it can take place anytime during the show run so I bet it'll pop up on the next DVD or the one after. It'd be a cool little extra. It doesn't seem to be available readily anywhere else.
It was a fun little episode. Nothing special but a good way to spend 12 minutes. The usual fine animation, hilarious villian, and nice action sequences. I liked it more than some of the episode that have come down the pipes lately. Just a fluffy, fun little yarn.

...I don't want to have to buy cereal to watch it. I don't eat cereal that often and i'm too lazy to go get it :p (or rather, have my mom take me to the grocery store since i cant drive a car.. and then buy exactly one box, rip it open, take the code, and leave the cereal on the floor as i escape in the amazing.. SPORK MOBILE!! lol)
EDIT: nvm. going to the basement to watch it now!:D
EDIT (again) : That was actually okay! The only thing I don't get is.. why was Raven sitting on the floor? She doesn't seem like the person to literally "drop everything, fall out on the floor, and read!! READ!!! READ!!!!!!!" :p

Probably because Robin and Cyborg were hogging the couch, and she didn't want to walk all the way to her room?
Quite liked this episode, it was well-paced, although the action was only in two places: the TT Tower and the concert hall. An episode I wouldn't mind making space to keep.

Probably because Robin and Cyborg were hogging the couch, and she didn't want to walk all the way to her room? Or she could have sat at the dinner table, but that was blocked off by the plot device...I mean, power generator.
She could have always gone into her room, but I think this is part of her emotional adaptation to the other Titans, plus she didn't want to back done because some jerk wanted to hog the area with music that was needlessly loud, as opposed to the noise of video games that can only be played in the living room or cooking that can only be done in the kitchen.
Quite liked this episode, it was well-paced, although the action was only in two places: the TT Tower and the concert hall. An episode I wouldn't mind making space to keep. I didn't mind the setting being confined to only two places because it fits in with the characters'. Why would Punk Rocket need to go anywhere but at the concert hall? He wants to put on a show, and he needs a stage. Why would the Titans need to be anywhere else but their home? Beast Boy's loud music is only an issue at a place where all the Titans are; they are not in the T-car driving someplace, so the writers make it a roommate issue instead.
If the episode was any longer, I think we would have gotten a lot of filler scenes outside of the concert hall, which would have been needless. Unlike "Bunny Raven" where I do not think there were enough locations in the hat (the city outside, the dark room inside, the theater itself, and backstage) to effectively address how zany this magical world was, this episode had enough locations.

Though it was just a gag, I can easily see BB's Ear wax problem as being a defense mechanism: loud noises causes his wax glands into overdrive, filling his ear canals with wax as to prevent permenant damage to his hearing. Not sure if its just a BB thing or if he acquired it from an animal he assimilated(maybe a biproduct of that feral form of his?).
And that was spark's DC Science theory of the day.

Nice, a lot better than what I was expecting. Nice fight scene, maybe one of the best so far. I've always enjoyed Robin going hand-to-hand with someone other than Slade. The resolution wasn't bad, either - reminiscent of "Kid's Stuff". A good show for twelve minutes. So... why isn't there a ranking poll thing again?

wow. I wasn't expecting something of that variety.
I was sure it be some flash made/2minute cheapisode (like everyone eles though as well)
12 minutes. Regular eps only end up being 18-22 minutes after commercial. And it had very nice animation, and better fight scenes then most of the regular episodes. So if anything, keeping it at 12 minutes allowed them to cut all the fat out.
This will deffinitly end up on DVD, or it will even more likely air on Cartoon Network as a filler for after a movie. Like when they air an animated feature, and there is still like 15 minutes left over, so they air a short powerpuff girls ep to fill in the half hour.
Considering how much money it takes to animate and voice and episode, there is now way they would throw away the money for a cereal. In all seriousness, the market share profit from a cereal promotion is unfair giving the quality given out of the episode.
We will deffinitly see this again somewhere. Most likely as soon as the contract with the cereal is over.

Very cool!
The animation, at least to my uneducated eyes, seemed to be a cut above the Titans standard (which is already pretty high). If a Teen Titans DTV is ever made, I'd expect it to look something like this.
It's a funny little short that hits all the right character moments, and like everyone else, I'm amazed at how non-promotional it is. Neat stuff.

I'd think that posting the links would be ok after the promotion ends (if the clips are still up by then).
I'll probably have it on TDA once we can't get the code wherever fine cereal is sold.

Not a bad episode but not a great one. It was certainly better than you'd think you'd get for a serial promotion. As expected, there was no attempt at contunuity of the current plot line, which is expected since I would think some viewers would have not seen the show or don't follow it every week.
I can't believe they missed an obvious Spinal Tap joke but not having him turn his amp up to "11". :)
From an historical point, it's certainly not the first time that a cereal company done a cross promotion with a TV cartoon. When "How the Grinch Stole Christmas was first aired, Whos from Whoville were featured in the General Mills ads that sponsored the show. And for other products, there's always the now-infamous Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble ads shilling Winston cigarettes in the early 1960's.

I decided to watch it. It was actually really good. HUmor was awesome. I love how BB's Ear Wax blocked out the sound, and how everyone wore the ear plugs at the end. For a 12 minute episode, it wasn't bad at all. ****

I had my eyes glued to the monitor during that entire sequence just waiting for Punk Rocket to crank it up that high. *Sigh*
But other than that, it was an enjoyable short. Well worth the time it took to download (you see, I still live in the Stone Age with petty dial-up service). :p

Checked it out. Alright. Not in the top ten, but it's good enough that if I can find a way to download it, I will.
Punk Rocket: The result of splicing the genes of Mad Mod and Jonny Rancid. Extrordinarally campy villan, but still entertaining, and fits the fact that it's a short.
Overall, entertaining ep, good for a laugh, good fight scene, I give it a 4/5
This was surprisingly good. The animation quality was on par with "X's." I liked the villain, it was only Beastboy's tantrum at the end that turned me off.
4/5.

Ah, yet another of those unanswerable questions where Teen Titans violates the laws of physics, like:
1.) Robin is one of the scrawniest people I've ever seen. How can he knock over Cinderblock?
2.) How does Star survive in space?
3.) HOW DID CYBORG PULL THAT STUNT IN TITANS EAST PT. 2?
4.) Why wasn't Bee hypnotized? (Well, initially..)
5.) Ravens powers?????
6.) Jellyfish can fly? (BB in "Date with Destiny")
7.) HOW does Star fly? (She has no wings or jetpacks... I assume its some kind of natural emotion-triggered alien levitation but who can really say?)
8.) How does Beast Boy put on 10,000 pounds in 2.8 seconds and not DIE?

I don't really watch Teen Titans but I've caught a handful of episodes over the last year or so and my initial reaction of "what the @#$%!" has now passed (although I still don't get much time for watching episodic stuff on TV - so I'm hoping for a nice big DVD collection which I would definately buy)! Anyway I was looking at TVTome earlier and spotted the listing for the Lost Episode so I promptly went off and managed download a copy... and I really enjoyed it!
Has anything like this ever been done for other DCAU shows (B:TAS, S:TAS, BB, JL, JLU, SS)?

In terms of cereal promotions, I'm not sure.
However, in making fully-animated mini-episodes, B:TAS had one in a video game. I've never watched this, but check out Toonami Digital Arsenal's download: http://www.toonamiarsenal.com/features/lostbatman/index.html.
