heh well here I am... welcome me to your boards!.... I look forward to meeting the people here that aren't already at the Unofficial Adult Swim Site's boards...
Part of me thinks this whole board is pointless, and another part thinks "hey maybe there wont be so many whiners here".
well, I can think of only one thing I hate about this board already though..... NO PICS IN THE SIGNATURE DAMNIT!
Shadeone
(there should be a cool aquaman animated GIF here)
Hello and welcome Shadeone! I've been over to the Unofficial Adult Swim Message Boards, and as good as that website is, the message boards aren't that great. There are no pop ups here, fortunately. Yes, you can't have pictures in signatures here, but I think that's actually better because they take up so much room. Once you get used to how Toon Zone Forums are set up, you should have a great time over here.

Good to hear! I can't stand pop-ups that's why I have a pop-up stopper program, but a side-effect is that I can't open up more than one window.
I agree with Vince myself, a custom-made board like Toonzone is way better than something like EZ board that uses a formula. The unofficial Adult Swim website news is kept up-to-date by Outer Space Kid and a lot of the posters are informative like Matt Wilson.
But the board is bogged down by sigs, ads, pop-ups, spam, and other useless junk. The moderaters here help keep everything on topic so it's not so hard to sift through to the info you want.
Brian Cruz actually has a dancing aquaman in his avatar, so I guess you got beaten to the punch. Also despite how cool a person thinks his/her avatar or sig is, most people just ignore them anyway.

Welcome shadeone! Be sure to check out all the other boards here at the TZ Forums.

It's so odd posting at this forum. Oh well, I guess I'll have to get used to this environ. Anyone else been to both boards and could compare and contrast the two for me? I want to know how loose everyone is and if everybody is cool.
Well, if by "cool" you mean "anything goes", I wouldn't call this board that. None of the Adult Swim shows are rated higher than TV-14, so we'd like to keep the topics and language around that level as well. But this board is definietly looser than the other boards on TZ.

I am definatly liking this board! The look and feel is just so much different than what I'm used to with the other boards, but that is a cool thing about TZ -- all the boards are different. This is dfinatly gonna be a great board to post at.

Not at the moment. We try our best to keep the boards from becoming a mass of unreadable drivel. If you ever notice anyone causing trouble, you can use the "Report this post" link to alert one of the moderators (like Matt Wilson :D )

Welcome to our new members, Shadeone and Nothing. I think you will like it here. I believe these are the best message boards on the net, and the regular posters here respect each other's opinions, so newbies feel free to express what you wish! (just don't forget to read the rules! There are guidelines here we abide by!) These are really the only message boards I actively visit and I think you'll agree that these are great boards overall!

I'm also from the Unofficial Adult Swim boards. I think I might post here now and then. . . by my heart belongs to OSK.
My only complaint about this forum: make _blue_ the background for the posts, or some other less abrasive color than red. The first time I came here, I left right away because the format makes my eyes bleed. :p

Glad to have you here, Fata Morgana!
The colors of the Cartoon Cartoons board is blue, so I don't think blue would work as well here. Personally, I like the color scheme of this board, but I guess to each his own!

Yep. In fact, the the Toonami board it should be coming to Toon Zone fairly soon. We'd love to have you around. About the color scheme: I really like it! Though some may not agree, I think it looks very cool. For those who don't like it, I'm sure you'll get used to it if you stick around.
