When I first saw this episode, I was upset that it didn't include more elements from the Phalanx story that had just happened in the X-Men comics. I wanted to see the kids from Generation X, especially the X-Men's one and only Jubilee, in action. Anyway, the show was pretty good despite that. We got to see Warlock, at least. I think Warlock, Cannonball and Wolfsbane were the only New Mutants to show up on the X-Men cartoon.

Seeing as ABC Family refuses to run the later episodes of this series I wish Disney would release it on DVD in boxed sets. I've only seen this once and always liked how the villian's "Resistance is futile" is exactly like Star Trek's the Borg.

I loved these episodes. Especially the fact that Beast held his own here. It was great to see it again last night.

Is it just me or did they show this episode like a month ago on Toon Disney? Am I missing a bunch of episodes by only catching the 10:30& 11pm episodes?

I think these episodes were pretty good. The love between the two robots I thought was a bit hokey but it provided an interesting way for the whole Phalanx virus to spread. I was glad to see such an odd group of characters pair up instead of the regulars. It was actually a good move to see a characters like Wolverine and Xavier get caught early on. It gave a great impression of the series threat this machine presents. Plus I loved seeing Mr. Sinister back and he was handled pretty well here for the most part.

Thats the Mojo Episode right? I did see it on Toon Disney. I know I saw it for the first time ever only a few weeks ago. I'm sure of it.There's more than one Mojo episode. You must have seen the two part story.
If one of the mods is reading this, could you please move the off topic posts to the following thread. This thread seems to have left the realm of a talkback. http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=129311

Does anyone know if Cameron Hodge appeared in another episode? Because Beast seems to know him, and he says he is from Genosha.

And as far as the episode is concerned, I loved it. This team worked perfectly well, and the way Magneto was pictured was awsome. An excellent stand-alone. one of the best episode in season 5, I think.
EDIT : sorry for the double post, my mistake.

I figured as much, but why would we represent a mutant in court?

RE: Cameron Hodge
Antiyonder:
I figured as much, but why would we represent a mutant in court? We don't know too much about animated Hodge. The one from the comics was an old friend of Angel's and was hired as the PR man for their "mutant hunting" group, X-Factor. All the time he had a secret agenda to incite further hatred against mutants, even bankrolling a group of armor-wearing mutant-haters called The Right. I'm fuzzy on some of the details that follow, but he was beheaded by Archangel, saved by the techno-demon N'astihr, and wound up on Genosha with a weird mechanical body like the one he had in these episodes. I think he came back a few times after that.
As for X:TAS Hodge, it may be the same type of thing: pretend to be a friend of mutants (defend Beast) while plotting against them (deal-making in Genosha, joining the Phalanx). Or maybe he's simply an opportunist looking for power (rubbing shoulders with the Genoshan Pres, joining the Phalanx.)
I agree with Arkaron, it's the highlight of Season 5. I loved seeing the odd mix of characters and alliances.

Any episode that features Beast as the lead automatically gets an epic win award. :D

I just saw this episode on DVD not that long ago, and I found the story didn't really catch me like the other stories in the series, and I found the Phalanx's to be a bit idiotic.
