1. In "Gear", we're told that Richie picked up Bang gas from off of Virgil's clothes.

But the first contact Virgil had w/ Richie after the Big Bang was when he was demonstrating his powers the next morning. How did he slip past Sharon & his dad w/o changing, & how was there still enough of it still there? And how come Sharon or Mr. Hawkins didn't pick up Bang gas?

2. Anybody have any idea how that nerdy kid who turned into the Hulk got exposed to Bang gas?

3. When Slipstream first demonstrated his powers, he was taken completely by suprise. This indicates that he wasn't at the Big Bang. So how'd he become a Bang Baby?

4. Originally, Rubber Band Man looked totally different as RBM than he did as Adam Evans. Why was this? Furthermore, later in the series he changed his appearance so he DID look the same & wore a different outfit. How & why did this happen?

Richie wasn't originally supposed to be a bang baby so they kind of "reworked" his exposure to the BB. Who knows maybe someday Sharon and Robert will develope powers!


2. Anybody have any idea how that nerdy kid who turned into the Hulk got exposed to Bang gas? Musta been by the docks but not gang banging a la Timezone who was riding her bike near the dock when it happened.

Most of the Bang Babies are taken by surprise at their metamorphosis-- even if they are aware of Bang Babies and how people become them.

How & why did this happen?I imagine he looked different as Adam Evans because he was a criminal in an disguise. He also pretended to be a singer named Stringer. I doubt he wanted anyone outside of the people he was seeking revenge on to recognize him. Plus Rubberband Man is one of the few characters in the DCAU who can shapeshift their entire outfits. He must've thought the redesigned outfit looker cooler. (He wasn't wrong.)

The Bang gas seems to only effect younger people, people who are still changing physically, basicly still going though puberty more or less. The only real exception being that bum Ragtag, but even in his case he was only givin the ability to give others powers. That would explain Mr. Hawkins at least, Sharon well I would think she is still young enough for the big bang soaked clothing to effect her.

I knoticed in some of the random bang babies don't really have much or an explanation, and yet don't really seem like gamg members ether. Of couse some of them could just live close to the docks, or were walking or riding home at the time.
