My beloved comrades working for the Revolution and building our beloved nation. Now then, we still have shameless imperialits prowling our republic, attempting to sabotage it. They have exploited the people of other nations, nations that should have become our comrades, betraying them, brainwashing them, and turning them into pawns for their imperialist tactics. And they would jump at the chance to invade the soil of our republic, the most adavced state in the world, revealing it's evil scheme to destroy our people. For the hammer shall be the first against the wall when the revolution comes!

Seriously. I know it's all in fun, but I still have strong reservations about a thread like this. I'll keep it open for the time being, but...well, let's just say I don't want to see a huge emotional mess when I come back later tonight.

I thought that first election thread was fun because it seemed like a vary silly thing but taking it even a little bit seriously ruins it because "Ruler of Toon Zone" sort of implies that one person has authority over others, and no one likes that.

In the future,
so long as personal attacks can be avoided,
maybe it would be better not to contest anything more substantial then this candy apple.
