I didn't like Slam when it debuted last year. Invader Zim was ok, but Butt Ugly Martians, and Super Duper Sumos didn't have the action that Toonami had with JLA, DBZ, and the Gundam series.
Here's some shows that would make a major comeback for Slam:
X-Men: Evolution: I like this show to be on Nick to compete with the Teen Titans, and I like them to air the eps taht didn't air on CN.
Godzilla (Current version.): So the movie sucked, the toon's better.
The Real Ghostbusters: An old school show for a new generation. Slimer's cool.:D
Keep Men In Black on Nick.
Batman:The Animated Series: This has got to be on Nick!!!
Danny Phantom and Teenage Robot go to Slam too!:zim: :gir: :harley: .
Bring back Zim. Zim is cartoon god!!:zim:

Slam! sucked and will never come back. Nickelodeon despiced Slam! and has hidden every living memory of its existence. LOL and Nick could never or would ever want the rights to "X Men Evolution", "Godzilla", "The Real Ghostbusters", or "Bataman: The Animated Series". "Men In Black: The Series" has been over on Nick for almost 3 years now and Nick would never try to bring it back. And "Danny Phantom" and "My Life As A Teenage Robot" are too good for Slam! Also, the only way IZ ever airs on Nickelodeon is at 6:30 a.m. weekday mornings, and IZ is most definitely cartoon God. IZ SUCKED.

Ya, Slam! sucked. But with those shows MPP mentioned, it would rock.

Those shows will never, ever, be seen on Nick. Nick's too proprietary. They like to make every cent earned off of their shows. They are rich, but they're not going to break a working cycle by ordering more than just a few shows at a time. No way will you see five shows on Nick that don't belong to Nick.
But, then again, there are the Spielberg WB cartoons...

C'mon, it sucked. Could we make it better? Those shows'll never air. Can you give me a solid reason why Nick wouldn't get them if they went back in the action market? Really, trying to make something better doesn't require this much complaining! Anyways I've tapped into this for a while now, and currently my opinion is to handle it as seperate from Nick. It will lose audiances with regular Nick bumpers, Spongebob's dancing across the screen, and TeeNick ads during the credits. Don't slab a bunch of actionish shows together, take it seriously. Keep it's old time-slot, but maybe expand it or put it primetime. Then you have a solid block if they use these shows:
Ninties or Fox Box aquation that CN has absolutley no interest in is necessary for a block like this. Use Teenage Robot and Danny Phantom to give this a head start. Avatar, definetly what will keep this a float. Premiere The X's when it comes out. I think that X-Men: Evolution would be what will get it serious (no edits though). Then don't be afraid about older properties like the live-action superhero shows TV Land has rights to and Mighty Mouse (Nick is doing a movie so they could air it). Then a few more aquations, maybe some old Slam! shows or Action League Now and no one will ever slam Slam! again!

Nickelodeon should air 4kids animes so CN doesn't have to.
One Piece, Ultimate Muscle, Kirby, Sonic X, Shaman King, Winx (not an anime), Tokyo Mew Mew, etc. Would fit in fine with the rest of Nick's shows overall. But having that many action shows would be a big step for Nick so I wouldn't expect them to be so bold.
They have to realize though. CN pwns them hardcore when it comes to action shows. So they really ought to step up to the challenge. Avatar is a start I suppose...

4Kids will work on Nick, definetly.

Batman on Hamster Pick of the Week about two years ago started it. Then Slam! came and left an impact of hope. Nicktoons like Danny, Robot, and upcoming ones like Avatar and the X's have action. Nick's been stepping up, they just need to not fall over.

Slam failed on the first day, sadly. When they decided not to air a brand new Zim cartoon. Soon BUM was pushed off the shores of the US (thank goodness), someone sued Nick over the airing of Speed Racer X, putting Super Sumos who save their world by using their butts not their brains, and what I think was the final nail in the coffin was the on and off of Slam. I'm satified with the Zim DVDs and that's it.
