Lois and Jimmy on Smallville

When I watched the bug boy ep on thanksgiving, when Pete took a pic of the skin in the bath tub he sorta reminded me of Jimmy Olsen, the camera man and Clark's pal. And Chloe, reporter for the paper there, was like Lois, plus Clark's had to save her a few times. I dunno if its just me or not, but these two are sorta filling in the roles of Superman's Pal Jimmy, and the always needing saving Lois.

Well, yeah, OK. I wish they'd do more w/ Pete, though. He was more of a driving force in the comics. I definitely want him to discover Clark's secret, like in the comics (only he's not Superboy).
