Unlike most of you I didn't see Char's Counter Attack back when ASA was on Saturday. So I watched it on demand. As usual I feel like I missed something (a common problem I have with Gundam movie endings).

Did Amuro and Char both die at the end? It looked like they probably did. And I also assume Chan died and that's why the Phantom Frame was out in space.

But the ending was a little abrupt and even though I went back and watched that part again I still don't know exactly what happened.

That psychoframe of Amuro's overloaded with all the people pushing Axis away from Earth. The resulting psychic force pushed Axis away, but took Amuro and Char along with it.

That's what happened? I assumed it was left ambigous (wouldn't be a first in anime or Hollywood for that matter.)

Her Mobile Suit exploded, with no lifepod ejected. It's kinda obvious she died... o.O The whole "ghost-Chan" thing fits in better after watching Zeta.
