If you guys like my reviews, please feel free to post your favorite H/B Tom and Jerry cartoon and I'll review it!!
Thanks
What about Johan (sp?) Mouse? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews of it, though I personally like the short. I think it's one of the earliest to feature the new designs of the characters (Tom without the white spot between his eyes), and the background style switches from "storybook" style to a more normal T&J style.
or maybe "the Bowling Alley Cat," or "Tom and Jerry at the Hollywood Bowl" (another that is often met with mixed reviews).

I'd like to shy away from the Oscar winning cartoons, at least for now. Johann Mouse has been put on video, DVD and has been aired so many times that it can wait a while longer. "Tom and Jerry at the Hollywood Bowl" will be the next one I do. I'll try to do it tomorrow morning. I've gotta watch the cartoon again and take it all in. It's been a while since I really gave it a good once over.
So Jack, what do you think of my reviews so far?
Mike
I love them, it's fun to read what others think of a certain cartoon. I like how you mention the animators too.

Thanks for the kind words. Can you believe as of last week I wasnt sure exactly who animated what! See the "Tom and Jerry Animators" thread for more details.

I like your reviews. Can you please do a review of TRAP HAPPY? That's my favorite T&J cartoon.

Ok, I rewatched "Tom and Jerry at the Hollywood Bowl" last night so I'll review that first, followed by "Trap Happy". "Bowling Alley Cat" will probably follow that.

Gotta follow in my man Jack's footsteps again
- I enjoy reading others reviews. I find yours to be well-written and insightful. If I ever try my hand at it, I hope I can do as well!
Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I just finished Trap Happy, which was a hard one to do. I've done too many of these things in rapid-fire succession. I'm getting burnt out. Anyone got any other cartoons they wanna have reviewed?

Ok, the last review I posted, Mouse Cleaning, was alot easier for me to do. Go read it, you'll be glad you did!

I'm not sure if it's been done yet(I know the cartoon was brought up before, if not reviewed), but I'd love a review of Blue Cat Blues. That's one of my favorite later/change-of-pace T&Js.

I just posted the review for that cartoon, Mibbitmaker. Sadly, our views differ.

...just trying to keep this thread in the forefront. Who else has a favorite Tom and Jerry cartoon they want me to cover. I'll hit either Jerry's Cousin or Nit-Witty Kitty on my own soon if no one gives me any ideas. Thanks...

Good idea, PorkyandDaffy. However, I really dont wanna do Oscar Winning cartoons. Everyone has seen em and the 50 Years of Cat and Mouse dissects them scene by scene. I feel it's redundant. But you got any other ideas?
I cant tell you like violent Tom and Jerry's though
Texas Tom and Baby Puss maybe? I like both of those...

Thank you very much for explaining what happens in "Blue Cat Blues". I don't remember seeing that one, and I wouldn't have liked to have paid for something like that.
And your other descriptions are fun to read, so keep it up! Thanks!

Thanks alot!! I just posted a review of Texas Tom. Is there anyone here who wants a review and synopsis of a cartoon they've never seen. Those seem more rewarding in a way.

What's wrong with me?! Why didnt I think of this earlier? Anyway, I just posted a review of Nit-witty Kitty. I think two cartoons is my limit for today. The Mouse Comes To Dinner will be the first one I do tomorrow! Expect a longer than usual summary. All the gags are priceless.

Comon you guys!!! Lets keep these reviews going!! I love doing them. Any more ideas as to what cartoons I should do next? I know there was a request for Baby Puss, so I guess I'll do that one soon. But, comon, there are so many T&J cartoons to choose from!!!
How about the ever hated Tot watching cartoons?
Tot Watchers and Busy Buddies (I think). I sort of like those two, though. They just aren't favorites of mine.
or the ever hated Duck cartoons (though I happen to really like those...)
Actually, there aren't any B-B Tom and Jerry cartoons that I don't like...

Whats a B-B Tom and Jerry cartoon?
Actually the first two Duck cartoons arent bad. Little Quacker and The Duck Doctor are pretty funny.
